Star, Flags, & Cupcakes

A pb&j star for breakfast. He wanted the edges packed for snack today.
Some coffee with a little craft time for the birthday party later.
Smells yummy! And so cute in the cups the birthday boy's mommy gave me. Baba saw me frosting them and said it was cute that I was like my own little sweat shop. Unfortunately I was starting to get a bit sweaty, it's so warm today! The last few days have been pouring rain and suddenly it's sunny and warm.
Good thing I made some extras as practice cupcakes. I made a pretty big mess of the frosting on those! These were much better. Still kind of messy, but not too bad. The cupcakes were mostly the same in size, but some I had to compensate with more frosting. Hopefully it looks even. Hope the special birthday boy and guests enjoy them.

Bouncing Birthday Bash!

Happy Birthday to Sir Connor!
Auntie made such cool party favors!
I caught the birthday boy's grandparents getting a selfie in, how cute are they?!
Playing hard and now ready to eat!
NJ: "Mama, Mama! I want that one, can I have? Please? That one!"
Auntie was offering seven up and that's what he was pointing at. He doesn't even know what it is! I think I rolled my eyes. Ha, ha. I didn't want him to have it, but it won't kill him and it's a birthday party! Actually, now that I think about it, it was nice of him to yell across to another table to ask me when he didn't have to. Good job, NJ!
Lots of good stuff... pizza, fresh fruit and veggies, and chocolate dipped strawberries!
Froggy waiting for the birthday boy. So strange.
A quick photo and off he went!
NJ was all over the place! It was hard to catch him. I thought he was missing half the time, he wasn't easy to find. I caught one photo of him playing, the slide is his favorite.
Nice set up, birthday boy peeking from behind.
Yay!
Mmm... chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting. I'm happy to see them being enjoyed!
The cupcakes look so much better in their set up. Fun!

When we got closer to church NJ said his tummy was hurting. He wanted to sit with me for a bit. We sat through about half the music, sometimes he'd lay on my lap. He was so snuggly, poor guy. After a while though he said he missed his class and wanted to go. So I dropped him off late and asked them to call me if his tummy hurt again.
A visit to the nursery once the babies were gone. He didn't mind taking a seat for a few minutes.
We worked on some homework before dinner.
NJ enjoyed dinner and I packed some for his lunch tomorrow too.

Punch, Boats, and Piñata

Quick stop at target and of coarse he disappears into this aisle. I had to walk away before he followed.
Cheers to my friend's birthday!
What kind of punch is this?
Mmm... must have more!
Flying some string.
Some fun photos.
Mmm, a boat cake.
Yum!
Piñata time. Too bad we missed the breaking of it and the candy. He had to go for a bathroom break.
It's ok we missed the candy, here's a boat full!
Too bad Mama accidentally knocked it all over the car floor. Look at that face, it's a hard one to catch.  Boy, is he tired! Who cries over some spilled candy? This tired and cranky guy!
I knew it! Fell asleep for the long ride home. Hopefully this will help with the crankiness.
