our first time using the pool and the first time for nj in our pool. it was freezing (so i hear, didn't actually go in), and nj was clearly unhappy. he made it known by crying as soon as he got in. but he was smiling and laughing when splashed with water.

while we ate ice cream, nj enjoyed his plain cone just as much! he chomped his way through in no time.
