It's not everyday we gather around a huge bunch of balloons. We're splitting it among cars to take it to a baby's first birthday, can't wait!

Lots of fun at the birthday party, so much that we all napped. But after the nap we got ready to bake. NJ was my helper. 

My nut crusher for one of three peanut butter cookie recipes.

A dozen each for our neighbors who recently made us really yummy cakes, three different kinds.

Ready for our Christmas tree lighting event tomorrow night. I'm excited we get to go since we missed it last year. And I get to bake cookies for it! 

He let me interrupt him to help me glue all the numbers I printed on to the pieces of paper I cut out. We're already behind on this year's advent of thankfulness. 

We came to pick up photos. NJ and I walked around while Baba waited for it. Who knew Walgreens had Legos and mini figures? How funny. Of course if there's Legos NJ will spot them.

What is he doing? So strange.

NJ was so excited about getting sushi and watching them make it in front of us. He was crazy about everything in every aisle that we went through. It was so loud the way that he'd react to everything he likes. "Ooooh!! I LOVE those! Yum! Can we get it?!" or  "Oh! I had those one time at someone's house, can we get some for our house?!" 

Oh my. It was really hard to pass anything without a huge reaction. He was loud and people stared. We tried to shush him, but his excitement took over. How can anyone be this enthusiastic and crazed about food? It's a little over the top. You'd think that we don't feed him at all. It's not over cookies and candy or ice cream and chips, it's over bread, shrimp, yogurt, cheese, crackers... It's not like we deny him those things it's so funny. I wonder where he gets this food craze, it's a bit much. I jokingly said to him, "Do we need to leave you at home when we go to the market?! Please calm down."

Easy dinner that he loves! 

It's cute how he still likes watching the trash being picked up. Very rarely, but sometimes he'll get to watch the dumpster next door get dumped too. He gets extra happy about that one. 

Some fun craft time making some stuff for a little one's birthday party coming up. So cute! 

NJ really likes trying to figure out these puzzles. This is a great thinking game. 

We got to help our friends decorate their Christmas tree tonight, how sweet! 

Another work day with Baba and Gong-gong. Dropping him off before heading to small/book group.

Silly boys. This made me laugh.

How sweet, even without the party he's getting gifts from some of his friends. 

NJ always tries to pose with Dot and says, "Mama, take a picture!" 

But Dot is not interested. If I do get the camera in time she's not looking. Usually she runs away. 

It's a rainy day, but still good enough light to take some nice family photos. 

NJ was the little helper/audience. 

Mmm, some warm fresh bread with soup for dinner. 

If I remember correctly I think they are imitating Santa with their hats.
