Dot has been a spoiled girl. She really likes the couch, but she's only allowed if wrapped in a blanket. She's cute wrapped in it.
Waving the paper around to dry the paint.
He loves riding his bike so much. I pulled the car up so he had a bit more room.
Our painted valentine's hanging to dry.
NJ asked the whole rest of the day about cutting them out. We each cut out the ones we painted.
I was putting some of NJ's clothes away and found his clock and trophy like this. I asked him, "What is this?"
He just laughed, he's so weird.
He had so much energy before bed. He's not even done putting his pajama's on and he's all over the place.
Our cut out hearts to make some valentines for his classmates and friends. I'm liking how they turned out.

We loved all the photos up, but time to change the decor for Valentine's.
And some of NJ's school work.
We've had this up on our fridge for a while and got lots of laughs from guests. And comments... "Nice to know you feed your kid."
"You know food is important to this family."
"So you feed him, huh?"
"His teacher must've loved this one!"
"Yay painting, I love painting!"
I tried to explain my idea of making patterns on paper, he seemed to get it. He wanted to do what I was doing. It was fun.
We only got about half done, but we can finish them up tomorrow and then make them into Valentine cards for his friends.
So cute how they're playing with blocks together. Well, kind of together!
Baby sure had a funny way of trying to get to the box of blocks. Hee, hee, he had us all laughing trying to wiggle his way past NJ's legs.
NJ seemed to be entertaining him and making him laugh, it was sweet.
NJ when not playing with baby, was reading.

His lotion wasn't coming out anymore. I used to throw it out until I started cutting the bottle open and there would be so much still in there. So much we could use it two more times except that it will dry out. So I use some too. NJ my helper is trying to scrape as much as possible that I missed.
He did the rest of his remaining pages today, about ten or eleven (usually he does four or five). He came over when he was done and said in a very serious way, "Mama, it was so hard to do so many, but I persevered."
Good for you! He started this thick workbook at the beginning of school and he's already done. I thought it would last the year, it went by quick. Good thing we still have other ones that were handed down to him.
I gave him the five minute warning for bedtime. When it was up he kept trying to convince me that he had just one more page. Then he said he needed to finish the story because the comic wasn't over. Sorry, it can wait, it'll be waiting here in the morning to read.

These have been up outside his classroom for a while now. I had to take a photo before it gets changed. We stare at it everyday.
Catching up on some filing and also putting away last year's stuff. Too much!
NJ ate his snack in the very corner of the table.
We ate dinner at the small table. I was afraid one of us would knock something right off, but worked out fine. It was nice and cozy actually.
Baba made a mini sandwich with his bread and chicken. NJ did exactly the same. He loves copying Baba, so funny. So glad he eats like Baba and not like me.

NJ trying out his spiderman paddle ball. At first he cut the string, I have no idea what he was thinking! I fished it out of the recycle and tried to string it back together. Ah-ma did the second half and we all tried to get the most bounces. Baba had most at nineteen. NJ got about four, which is better than I could do!
He wanted to show Ah-ma how he can ride his bike. She was impressed.

We didn't expect to go out to eat at all today and we ended up going twice! We were invited out both times. Lunch was fun for the kids and for us parents/adults. Auntie Becca and Uncle Dan followed us back to the house for a bit. Then we went to visit Mom and bring her car back to her. She's back to two Acuras like she had before. Her garage is so roomy, they fit with plenty of room. We'll have to figure out how to fit our two cars in the garage now too. Ah-ma wanted to go out to a new place to eat. There are so many great places opening up around her, it's fun to try them. NJ was really happy with some of his favorites. He said, "Lucky we came here, right? It's so good!" We got free teas too. They were so yummy but I know it's going to keep me up.
