Whisking some eggs to scramble them.
NJ on his way to help Baba and Gong-Gong with cleaning so that Mama can get some rest.
Happy Birthday to Ah-goo!

It's a Friday off and no school! Some yummy pancakes for breakfast.
NJ built an ice cream contraption he wanted to show me.
A free day after Thanksgiving so we're breaking out the Christmas tree! Time to get festive.
NJ is helping us with everything. He's putting up the stockings on the hooks someone put on the fireplace. plus we have a couple other hooks.
He couldn't wait to put up ornaments!
We waited for Baba to get back so he could help NJ reach the top to put the star up. It's a ornament and not an actual tree topper, but we don't have one so this is what we've always used.
We had some visitors to come hang out, yay!

Time to put away all the stuff lining our hallway. NJ helped Baba seal the bags and let the air out.
Helping with vacuuming and mopping the floor.
NJ is eating lunch while Baba is filling some more pods for coffee.
NJ and Ah-gong playing pick up sticks together. They were both laughing a lot, it was cute.
We really didn't prepare much, a giant loaf of bread and some cream corn only.
We put up an extra table and tablecloths to make it nicer.
Yum! Pot Roast, baked ham, bread, brussel sprouts, creamed corn, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, apple and cranberry pie for dessert. I was very hungry after not eating for so many hours that I didn't even take any photos of us having dinner. We combined Thanksgiving dinner together with our friend's family, them and their baby, her sisters and parents. I was worried we couldn't have the dinner together and about being stressed. But once again it was a blessing in disguise because they brought so much food! There's no way I could have made a meal like that after being sick. It was so kind of them to share their meal they worked so hard on and to share their holiday and family time with us.
Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land with both his grandpas. NJ kept winning every game. Until I think he got beat on the last game. We didn't know if they'd have other plans so it was nice of them to join us. Both grandmas are separately on trips to Asia.

The night didn't start out too great, but once I got some meds I was good again. It was quite the blessing in disguise that I got to talk all night with my close friend. Literally all night. She stayed with me in the emergency, bringing me there and waiting until I got admitted. It was from about 10:00pm to 6:00am. She got a lot of crocheting done and I got some rest. It was great that we had that chance to catch up and talk and talk and talk. I just felt bad that it had to be in this setting and situation.
After all the blood tests, two CTs, fluids, being able to eat again, I was still being kept. I passed everything, but I didn't get the ok to go home. Finally we asked to talk directly to the doctor. I convinced them I was ok to leave. I didn't want to stay for Thanksgiving, I wanted to go home. We were so happy to be able to leave. That was a close one. I was giving up on Thanksgiving, such terrible timing.

Baba wasn't feeling that well so NJ and I went out to Lacey park nearby.
Some of NJ's classmates were there, not very many, but it was fun to see them outside of school.
Waiting for his check-up. Gross. Not my idea for a good picture.
I can't believe how huge he is now compared to when he sat like this in his diaper as a baby.  We're proud of how well he does with his appointment, he's older now too though. While we waited, we asked him to count by two's, five's, and ten's so he wouldn't get too restless. He got all the way to two thousand five hundred at least with counting by ten's. That's the highest he's ever counted.
He surprises and impresses us every time he does well with his shots. Since he could understand us explaining it to him he was fine with it.
Making a card for Uncle.
