being in the wedding, it was a little bit of a challenge being away from nj. but he had plenty of people to help... grandparents, aunties, uncles, and older second cousins. he loved the attention!

all dressed up
nj was so cute in his little suit. even if he had no tie, white shirt, or fancy shoes- i think it added character.

what did you do for that money?!
baba and nj showed up at the wedding rehearsal and he lifted his shirt to show me his money. why it was down his shirt and pants made me think he was dancing for it! ha, ha. thank you, auntie, you're too kind!

i'll help you look for make-up, ah-ee!
he really LOVES auntie tine, it's so cute! he's constantly calling for her and looks for her when he can't see her anymore. it makes me happy to see him connecting to people the way he is now.
sticky fun!
thanks auntie janell for the toy and teaching me how to get it to stick to the window, that was fun!

what are we looking for?
nj wanted to walk around, but he kept going up to bras and touching them! so we tried to keep him walking clear of merchandise.
playing the castanet!
now that he's had a couple of music classes, nj knows how to use the turtle instruments. he shakes and hits the tambourine, shakes the maraca, and softly clicks the castanet. i was pleasantly surprised that he kept pressing the button to play music and play the instruments!

waiting for yogurt...
some yogurt to calm our tummies... we (mama and baba) have not been feeling our best. but we're thankful that nj has stayed well!
helping mama clean
he moved the kitchen stool over to the counter, took a towel hanging off the oven, got up and started wiping the counter. loves to clean, just like mama! if only baba had seen for himself, he'd laugh and roll his eyes.

milk bubbles
it's about time to get him off his sippy for milk, he's been drinking it from a straw fine. today he discovered how to blow air into it. he'd blow into the straw and say, "bubbles!" with a big smile.

the playground stare
i could hardly get up in the morning and was having a tough time, so i took him to the park to get him out of the house. he climbed up and slid down a few times. but he spent the rest of the time staring at these two older girls (about 10, i think), spinning themselves silly on the swings.
