"I got it for you!"
How sweet, I was greeted today by a freshly picked flower as he tried to climb all over me. This is when I don't like being me- having to stay away from my sweet snotty (and coughing) son. I brought over dinner that we ate together. I'm wondering if that was even a good idea since he was coughing all over and touching everything on the table. Well, so far so good... I think! NJ asked for cranberry juice and he was served with this fancy glass. Since when does he drink out of these? Just because he asked? I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but I was thinking how easily he'd spill it and possibly break it. Sure enough, after his first drink he spilled it all over himself, the chair, and floor. This is just before the mess, he looks like he's having himself a cocktail.

Summary of the Day...

"Good morning, love you. I wanna hug."
Guess who loves his shrimp chips? I asked him to hold it and smile and he actually posed happily for me.
We were outside de-weeding our mailbox area as NJ ran around the driveway and climbed on the dividing wall. He hasn't climbed or sat on it before, we're hardly out front. All was good until he crossed the line on the driveway I asked him not to cross (closest to the street), then it was inside the house for mr. antsy pants.
NJ was such a sweet boy this morning. He was being a good listener and when we sat down to eat breakfast, he also said:Tuesday, March 20, 2012
"Oh. That was nice."

"Get out of my way!"
Aha, I caught you Dotty!

"Hi Penguins!"
When he saw penguins on screen he started saying, "Hi penguins!" Just like he did when he saw the real ones. Baba said, "Say it louder, they didn't hear you."
NJ likes to help when I prep food for dinner. When he climbs the stool, I ask him to go wash his hands first. He's been so antsy and touching everything, now I have to tell him not to touch anything or he can't help anymore. I explained that to him to tonight again and he said, "Then Mama say, Where's my helper? Like that?" Exactly.
