Relaxing time at the park eating lunch, watching some tee-ball, and watching the boys have fun. They ate, watched, blew bubbles, chased each other in the grass, and practiced hitting with the bat. Almost got hit by a swing or two. NJ liked watching guh-guh play, he did a great job in the game.

"I want to rest my mouth"
His pre made breakfast of yogurt, fruit, and granola.
He still asked for pancakes so I made some. He only ate two so there's plenty for tomorrow. I asked him to change his clothes while I made them.
There was duck hiding in the pond foliage. We tried to get them not to scare it away.
They found a dinosaur.
Big beautiful tree.
There must be a rule about only one kid smiling per photo, always happens!
A nice walk around the arboretum with Ah-ee and baby Connor.
I got up from a nap to find Baba, Ah-ma, and NJ outside working on replacing the screen on our screen door. It's always had a big hole in it, which lets in bugs and probably all those lizards that we've had.
A little after dinner treat with my favorite boy. What a happy face!
As I let him watch one show, I asked if he wanted to watch another one or go get dessert with me. He wanted to go after finishing watching because he says, "I want to rest my mouth."

"What's for Dessert?"

Dinner was ready except we were waiting for the rice. I found NJ sitting by himself at the table quietly. I asked him, "Are you that hungry that you're just sitting here ready and waiting?" He gave me his sad eyes and pout. Poor guy.

"Listen to My Words"

"Look Mama! I did it!" NJ finally got the track to fit all the way around. Leaving some pieces out helped a lot.

"Three plus three is six! Ten take away three is seven! Four plus one is five! O-N-E spells one! T-E-N spells ten!" I like this r2d2/c3po toy more and more. He always wants to bring it in the car with him.

NJ wanted to show off how he can color in the lines now (or at least much better). And he did a nice rainbow coloring job.
As we ate breakfast: NJ- "The bread is hard."
M- "It's called toasted."
NJ- "You toast it and it makes the bread hard? You put it in there to make it and it comes out hard?"
M- "Yes."
NJ- "Woaw, that's awesome!"
NJ- "Why you can't reach those in the car with your feet? What is called?"
M- "You mean, pedals."
NJ- "Oh yeah, why you can't reach it?"
M- "I can. Otherwise, how can I drive?"
NJ- "Buy why you can't reach when it's far away?"
M- "Because it's far away."
NJ- "Then how you reach it?"
M- "I move the chair closer."
NJ- "Oh. Why you and Baba so different size?"
M- "We're all different."
NJ- "Like me?"

"No that's a grown up show, right?"

As we always do, I asked him what he did at school. He talked about playing in the playground:
NJ- "I played with Timmy. We were glup, glup, glup, cough, cough. Drinking and coughing and being silly, so funny..."
M- "Drinking? What were you drinking?"
NJ- "Coffee."
M- "Do you like coffee?"
NJ "No, it's not good."
I'm sure that's what he'd say if he really tasted it.
He was all sad about his bag ripping when I picked him up today. He said it ripped when he was pulling it while caught on the cot. Must've been some pulling, the bag is completely ripped in almost two. I could hardly keep it's contents from spilling out as I brought it home. NJ loves this bag because it has lightning on it. He asked where we got it. When I said it was at the 99 cent store, he wanted to know what row. I had to tell him there was no guarantee that it would still be there, but we can check.

Noodle soup for dinner. He really liked it and said, "Mmm, this good Mama." And, "Ooh, I can use my chopstick and spoon for the soup!" Sure, ok.

At the children's museum I finally found the crayons that belong with these place mats, he has three. We haven't used them because he always asks to color on them, but he can't. There's crayon and marker permanently on there because he was so eager to color that he used whatever we have. But those don't wash off, only these crayons that are made for these mats. There was a whole display with all the different mats and I was so excited to see the crayons since I haven't been able to find them elsewhere. Maybe I should have gotten two.
He begged me to watch something. I told him if he ate his dinner nicely and finished all of it. Then I had him clean all his toys and put things away. Finally, I turn the tv on and there's some kind of news on. He says, "No, that's a grown up show, right?" Yes, almost everything is!

I woke up this morning to the voice of c3po talking numbers and letters. And the electronic rendition of the star wars theme. He must've had the volume on high. Or maybe I was just really tired. He played with this through my yard sale shopping last friday. He was still playing when I was wrapping up my shopping, so I threw it in. I'm so glad because he loves it!

I went to a meeting after church so I was a little behind on joining everyone, but I was happy to see NJ was all smiles and sweaty from all the fun.
What is he doing? He slid down and just stayed like that for a while. Such a strange one.
Water guzzling break, NJ is all sweaty.
Post play time treat.
The boys are playing, but here is our boy staring at the desserts!
