Watching the bread maker as it makes our whole wheat pizza dough.

Wow, he's playing with his trains! He asked me to build with him.

Taste testing my batch of pb&j cookies.

My mini valentine's treats ready to go (yellow cake with vanilla frosting).

Rolling out the dough.

Melting the cheese for fondue.

Eating up their pizza creations.

Doing some crafts and making some valentines and love notes.

Mmm... chocolate fondue!

Overflowing with chocolatey goodness.

Someone couldn't wait to lick the frosting off the cake treats. Hee, hee.

I woke up to a heart shaped breakfast and lovely flowers. How sweet!
Baba made dinner for us. We had an early dinner since NJ was pretty tired. His Jesus loves me/Valentine's party today must've been too much. Baba went to pick him up from school and said it was an explosion of sweets... cupcakes, cookies, and candy! He had too much and was tired and cranky from a sugar crash. He went to bed early to rest it off. We made sure to brush his teeth really well tonight!

Cards & Cupcakes

Baba's helping me with some more photos for my product shots. Got some stuff done today even though we're not feeling our best.
NJ put down his legos for a break to help me bake some cupcakes for his class tomorrow.
The boys sat down for a game, but really they are mostly watching Olympics.
While the boys played I finished up the cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles.
My little taste tester. He couldn't wait until after dinner to have one.

I packed up the cupcakes for his class tomorrow and the valentine's we made together too. I didn't get fancy with it (even though I really wanted to) I thought it would be nice for NJ to help and have fun with them. Instead of making something in the computer like I planned. I got to use some of my collection of rubber stamps. The verse on it: Above all, love each other deeply... 1 Peter 4:8a

An early dinner for us, NJ's stacked sushi.

"Mama, you want to play chutes and ladders with me?"
This version is snakes and ladders. He wanted to play four times, we each one two. Whenever I was loosing badly he was very encouraging and sweet. He'll say, "It's ok Mama, you'll catch up."

Someone was asking for a yogurt drink after dinner. I let him have a calpico. He also ran to get something out of his backpack. He said it was from chapel today, everyone got one. I knew I wasn't going to stop him from drinking both by his excitement. He told me, "First, I have my vitamin c and then I have sugar." Hmm, well at least he knows what he's ingesting.

Time to decorate his goody box.

He had a lot more fun with the colorful metallic tape than I thought he would. He mostly used that and stickers.

Yay, he's happy with his decorating and into the bag it goes.

Well, there was our problem. Hopefully this will do it for a while.
Writing some valentine's to his classmates. He has quite a few names to write. He got it done pretty quickly. We also had some fun cutting, punching, stamping, and glueing.

Mmm... cake. One's chocolate, one is mango.
It looks like we took up most of the place. I got myself together and felt just well enough to get out of the house finally for church. We went to lunch after and lots of friends joined us by surprise. It was great to have them all with us. I only wish I had more energy. Hope I can get a good nap in.
I woke up from a nap to my boys folding laundry together. Too cute.
I joined in to start putting stuff away and asked NJ to sweep his eraser dust. We cleared and cleaned the table together for dinner.
Mom brought sushi and noodles for us. NJ did a great job with his chopsticks to eat his california rolls. He had his own roll to himself. Ah-ma said she bought an extra roll especially for him knowing how much he loves it. Good idea!
A little someone was super excited and energetic over our dinner guests. I can't remember the last time I spent my actual birthday with my mom, dad, and brother together. Funny how it worked out even at the last minute.
We still had cake from this afternoon, just enough for each of us.
Dotty almost got the last slice.
NJ and Ah-goo worked together to build. NJ would have kept going for the rest of the night I'm sure... But he has school tomorrow and Uncle has work tomorrow.
Baba is explaining what happened, why there's a huge hole and an explosion of dirt everywhere.
I was appreciative to have been surrounded by friends and family unexpectedly. I am well loved by them.
