NJ was following me around, but I was headed in to take a shower. So I asked him to go draw a picture for me while until I come back out. Half way through my shower I notice that he slipped a piece of paper under the door. I saw it once I got out of the shower. How sweet that he wanted to give it to me right away. After getting dressed, I went to thank him for it. He said it was a flower and a rainbow. I love it. 

He was especially energetic today, jumping around, dancing, singing, and even flailing. I'm not sure what got into him, but it started to drive us crazy. At least he's happy. I do love the silly songs that he makes up and all the sunday school and praise songs he sings. 

A wedding banquet, a reunion of friends, and a date night for me and Baba. And these were some yummy cupcakes! 

Day Off

NJ was my helper with mailing my first order. I'm so excited that I got my first order! Hopefully more to come. 

He had so much energy today, but at least I got him to do his homework and it's out of the way. 

I didn't have much energy to make much dinner, just some pita with hummus and chicken. NJ still liked it so I'm glad it he wasn't being picky.

I found some more packaging that I let him pop. He really liked lining it up and going one by one. 

NJ's "new" pajama's. And by new I mean we put away his 4T's and brought out his 5's that we've stored. All from friends of coarse. His clothes have all been snug and short for a while, but I really wanted to make the most of it so I waited. Now his clothes fit much better. It was kind of a rough day, but we made the most of it. Originally we had a nice day out planned, but it didn't work out. I was hoping to rest more, but that didn't quite happen either. Maybe tomorrow. 

Field Trip to Tanaka Farms

More boys means more fun. NJ's friends and classmates joined us for a ride to their field trip. 

All the boys got there before any girls.

Time for snacks and to get into line.

Goats and sheep to pet. NJ was more interested in watching them then petting them. 

Baba's backpack has just got heavier.

Each kid could pick one pumpkin that they carried out themselves. NJ picked his pretty easily, I'm glad he wasn't indecisive.

Wagon ride! 

Time to pick some veggies. Just four each of carrots, peas, and radishes. 

Back at school the boys had a ton of fun! We talked about our favorite thing we did that day and everyone had something different.

Last farmer's market of the year. I didn't know they were doing trick or treating at the booths, oh well. We had our fill of the stuff we won't get again until April. 

We got home and Dot made herself at home in my blanket on our chair. I should have known. 

Craft Fair

The little guy has lots to keep him busy.

My first time selling like this since... before NJ at the farmer's market. Feels familiar. I brought out some of my old stuff, the magnets and scarves. But I also brought my new stuff. 

Hand drawn cute and cool designs by Auntie. So nice of her to invite me to sell with her. Nate also put out his lanyard keychains, camera straps, and clips.

I brought out an old vintage jewelry music box to put my business cards in. 

I actually made some sales, yay! I wasn't expecting much so anything was good. 

It makes me happy to see him draw everyday. 

I was trying on some boots very ungracefully and when I turned around, I see that NJ is doing something similar. Oh man, that is not a good look for him. I like to think that he was wondering how it could be so hard and wanted to show me he could do it easily. He did because his leg is not as thick as mine and didn't have any trouble zipping up. 

An Artsy Day

Baba helped me photograph my paintings and cropped them in the computer. I put them together for some examples. I'm liking it more and more. Seeing it gives me the encouragement I need.

Working a late night craft time with my best friend. I love it! She's crafty, creative, and has a very steady hand.
