Ah-ma visited us today. She is also back from a long trip to Asia. We also got a visit from my cousin who brought all kinds of stuff for NJ like these books that he dove right into. 

Ama and Gong-Gong came over with dinner (thank you)! Ama is back from her trip over seas.

NJ's really in the zone playing his Lego's, he built some kind of fort. 

A new frame has been added thanks to a gift from our friends (thank you, Susan)! It's perfect because there's three of us and three little stick figures. I pulled the photo from the fridge to put in it. 

NJ loves these crunchy snap pea crackers. I'm kind of surprised because Baba and I didn't like them very much. He asks for them every time we see them. 

We try to get NJ to read a chapter a day at least. Sometimes he reads more especially if he's into the story. We also ask him to tell us about the chapter so we know he's paying attention and it helps for him to learn how to describe and put his thoughts into words. He does a pretty good job. 

Wow, we got a lot of food from the Gabelman's! Yummy barbecued chicken, some carrots, corn, bread and even cookies!

Got out of the house for a blood test this morning. In the afternoon, Wendy came by to bring us dinner which was really thoughtful. We got to sit and talk and I shared a little about Japan since she and their whole family will be going this summer. 

NJ wanted to help with cleaning today. He helped sweep behind his bed in his room...

Wiped down the cabinets in the kitchen...

Wiped down the floor boards... He also helped move furniture back and forth for sweeping and mopping and did a bit of vacuuming. He's such a great help! One of the many things we love about him!

Our friends were barbecuing and invited us to their place. I haven't been anywhere at all and wasn't supposed to go out. But I was feeling ok at the moment, there was only the two of them, they weren't sick or been around anyone sick, it was at their house, and we didn't stay long. It was nice to kind of sneak out for a quick bit to see our close friends. 

I'm sad when the boys leave to go out, especially on a sunday morning. I miss seeing our HOPE family. Baba text me a live link to the service. It was really choppy and not the best quality, but it'll do. 

We got some meat and veggies to bbq and invited our friends and neighbors. Our neighbors happened to be home and didn't have dinner yet so they all came over from next door and across the street. We're blessed to have such good neighbors.

Baba barbecued and the boys played ball. They took turns trying to improve their football throwing skill. 

These hungry boys, I walked in on them scrounging the cupboards for snacks. The looks on their faces made me laugh. They're so cute.
