bird and banana

dad stopped by today and gave him a magnet with a macaw parrot on it. i told him to put the bird on the refrigerator for us. in the kitchen, dad saw bananas and wanted one. he shared with nj and that made him very happy...

teddy bear

he still remembers the motions to the teddy bear song from music class. when i sing it, he does them and sometimes tries to sing it too.

today he came running to me with his pointer finger out and a concerned look on his face. i thought at first maybe he hurt himself. but when he showed me his finger, there was a little piece of dust. it was hard not to laugh, but I told him it was ok and to go throw it away. over the trash, he shook his hand to shake it off his finger, that made me laugh too. he looked so silly.

wait for me!

After giving him his noon milk and lunch, we let him play a little before his nap. But when he saw that more food had come and we were sitting down to eat, he wanted to join us. We were sitting at the table when in comes nj pushing his booster seat from the kitchen over to us! When he pushed it far enough, he went back to get the tray for the seat. He loves his food!

for the lakers. we've spent so much time together that my mom watches the games with us now too. she teaches nj who kobe and pau are. ha, ha, my mom of all people. it's cute. we tell him all the time to finish his milk and eat his food so that he can grow tall enough to be a basketball player. :)

haircut number four

baba took him to get his hair cut. he said nj was very good and sat still. he really needed a haircut, now he needs new shoes!

again, nj's so fascinated with the baby. he's good, but we keep reminding him to be gentle. he likes to rock the little carrier.
