"I'm washing my monkey"

NJ's name was up for the flag holder and line leader. He posed nicely for me to take a picture. He also shared the camera he loves to carry around. When we got home from class, he asked for more fruit so I asked him to wash his hands. It was taking a long time, the water was running for too long. I called out to the bathroom, "Don't waste water, hurry up!" He answers, "I'm washing my monkey!" Baba and I are facing each other, me at the sink, him on a barstool and we look at each other. Ah, I remember... I tell Baba that he got a monkey stamped on his hand before leaving class.
Update on "Horrible Harry", he's grown more hair and no longer smells like poo. Thank goodness! Plus some more of NJ's plantings...
Trying to clean out our garage to contribute to HOPE's Goodwill drive. NJ was helpful as always.

"Mama, I want you out!"

Sounds worse than it is... NJ says, "Mama, I want you out!" when I'm really tired and he comes into our room with me laying down. He pokes and tugs on me or sometimes breathes on me to get me to come back out to play with him. I don't know if it's because it's been so warm, but I feel so sluggish with headaches. Baba was nice enough to take him to the park to play while I took a little nap. I tried to get him to catch up on some of his class work book.

"This for you, Mama"

With so many windows and mirrors in our home, they get little hand prints and smudges all over. I caught him touching the glass and said, "Remember not to touch the glass. Look at all your hand prints all over. Are you going to clean it for me?" His answer was "yes", so I let him. I gave him a piece of paper towel, got the glass cleaner and sprayed for him to wipe. He did pretty good, but I got whatever he missed.
In class, we made mother's day cards and had a mini tea party. The kids served us moms grapes, peanuts, a granola bar, and poured us "tea" (actually watered down juice). The moms all took photos for each other.

"Mama, this aaaalllll for you!"

NJ helped me with watering the plants and putting away his folded laundry. He carried a big pile of his pants and says, "Mama, this is aaaalll for you!" as he puts it on the dresser for me.

"Mama, why you feet not pretty anymore?"

Homework
Yard work
Taking out the trash

When I first painted my toenails (when it started getting warmer) NJ kept asking, "What's that? I like it, so pretty." So when he saw that my toenails were no longer painted, he was surprised and said: "Mama, why you feet not pretty anymore?"
