"Mama, see the lizard?" We see the same two everyday, one with a tail and one without. He always calls me over to see. Today he used his magnifying glass to stare at one by the window. 

The maraca and sombrero he made for yesterday's party. He was shaking the maraca all day long and wanted to bring it to show Auntie.

Silly boys! They're playing together so well, it's fun to listen and watch.

Cinco de Mayo Party

Complete with festive music, dancing, maracas, story about the war, counting to ten in Spanish, sombreros, authentic homemade food, and piñata. I was especially unhelpful in class today as a "working" mom with my huge headache. Tons of kids, noise, mess, and craziness. But I survived it and NJ had a lot of fun. When he was asking me to bring particular snacks to class, I told him we're not bringing snacks because today's the party. He was so excited he wouldn't stop asking when we were leaving. After I got ready and came out of the room, NJ said:  "Are you ready? We going now?" I said the magic word, "yes" and he ran around, jumping, yelling, "Yaaaay, we going!" He ran to Baba, "Baba, I'm going to party, love you, bye!" Oh boy.

Happily posing with our new plumeria that mom planted for us. She's been nice enough to help with improving our yard. She has so many great plants that's she sharing with us. NJ is always eager to "help".

Everyday he puts his track together to race his cars. He comes to take my hand to invite me to race him. Today he really wanted Baba to join us. He insisted Baba drive the Lamborghini.

Mommy-son play date

What could be better than eating some yummy Chick-Fil-A breakfast? Good company! NJ got to play with Josiah while Auntie Rhodalynn and me did some much needed catching up. 

"It's so great to eat here!"

We had a morning meet-up for breakfast with friends. Before going inside, I asked if NJ wanted to take a picture with the official car. He was happy to. 

Lego Table!

Dot Dot wants a look...

"I want to bump bump!"

Yesterday we took some time to clean up the garage and sort all our stuff/junk. We picked up this lego table months and months ago a yard sale, but kept it in the garage because of the crooked wobbly legs (not to mention the dirt and spider webs). It's good as new now with a little tightening of screws and a good wipe down. He loves doing puzzles, so I brought out some more for him that had been put away. Love seeing him enjoy himself. 

Show me your car

At the end of every class, the teacher draws a happy face on the kids hands if they want it. A happy face or whatever they request (that's reasonable of coarse). NJ always asks for a car. But he's also gotten a balloon or happy face. He was comparing his with his classmate Haylee who had a flower. 

Dancing to the music up on stage. NJ loves the music every week. Too bad he can't join us for the music all the time. He spotted Uncle Dan playing guitar and wanted to say hi once they were cleaning up.
