Surprise! Ran into my friend!
The group is growing by the year. Great to share it with more friends. Had to take a picture before some had to leave.

A little snack before we get on the road.
We picked him up and he had a birthday hat and a mouth full of candy. It was a long drive with too much traffic, but it was worth it. Now to shower and try to get enough sleep.

Happy Ten

Going to Mario's and Porto's the other day made us think about our early college days together. So we made a day of it. Our first anniversary back and it seemed fitting. We went to as many places we could in the same general area that are still there. Plus back to where we met and got engaged, where we got married, and where we had our reception. It was fun going to all these old spots and sad to think about all the things that have disappeared. We had a lot of memories being at these places that we'd talk and laugh about. We took photos the way we always have. I was always impressed at how he could frame the picture even when we couldn't see it until we processed the film. After NJ was out of school and done with his homework we went to dinner to celebrate together. I spotted this place last weekend and I couldn't wait to go. A friend of mine brought me to one in OC. We've been on an anniversary dinner date there before too. I was so excited to see it nearby! It was sweet to have NJ with us. He's been an amazing addition to our family. The perfect way to end our day together.

Watching the first class finish up.
All ready for your soccer class?
Learning to dribble.
What's going on here?
I don't know how he still has energy. A full day of school, homework, soccer, now riding his bike. Where does he get all this energy?! I'm tired just watching, being there, and trying to keep up.
Hello Dot Dot.

Some bike riding and scootering during half time. It's a good thing since it's best he didn't watch. Ha,ha. Even during some commercials we told him to close his eyes.

When we asked him which team he was cheering for he said, "The blue one."
Why?
"Because they are from America."
Both teams are from America.
"No, I mean they are in the United States."
They're both from the United States. Football is an American sport.
We didn't have any place to join anyone for the game so we watched it at home just the three of us. I mean four if you count Dot. She really wanted some of our popcorn. I'm glad we were home since we all fell asleep at some point. I'm sure if we were any place else I'd be much too tired to be social. It turned out well. I usually let the want of being social and spending time with people take over and not think thoroughly about how it's better I rest.
