Library story time with a friend.
Off to lunch at Chick-Fil-A... The boys had chicken, ran around in the playground, and traded their kids meal book for ice cream together. Look at these faces!
NJ's preschool was having a festival today. There were games, crafts, a bounce house, trunk or treat, and free food! He had fun making an oreo spider with licorice legs and ate it. He did the bean bag toss, and basketball hoops, and some coloring. They let him pick his candy when we went around for the trunk or treat. He chose M&M's every time. Silly kid. We've got M&M's to last us a year, I think. We got bottles of water, chips, fresh popcorn, and hot dogs free! The boys had their dinner taken care of, that was nice.
Trick or treating was a blast! NJ went with his friends, two ninjas, a lion, and a cutie in a tutu. They had a ton of fun together even after the neighborhood tour stopped. The boys needed a potty break so we went to our friend's house and hung out there while the kids continued to play.

I'm a little sad that I didn't get to make his costume this year. I wanted to make a shark costume until a friend sent me a link to this one on craigslist. It was cheaper than what it would have cost for the material already, let alone the time to make it. So I gave in. I still wanted to alter it to take the puffy-ness out and put the top over jeans. But Baba saw it and he wouldn't let me change it, he said it was too cute. I thought it would be too babyish since he's a boy now. But why not, he's only this small for so long. And almost all the boys his age were some kind of super hero so I guess it didn't hurt for him to be different. He can be cute for one more year, it's ok.
