"We getting food for Dotty? Can we get treats too? There's no more treats, I like to give her treats."
Boys, boys, boys, they were having too much fun! And we were enjoying our food!
"Can we come back to eat here with them? That was so fun!"

The boys and their playground of electronics.
NJ's little Ikea feast.
Ooh, half off... tempting but no room! Baba was enjoying the brown leather rocker, even nicer.
Tenchu (thank you), Baba.
We picked up some much needed containers. Ants have been invading our cabinets with too much food wasted. This way we know our food is protected and not questionable.
Broccoli by special request.
Catching up on our friends in the mission field.
One of my favorite sites and sounds... Baba reading stories to NJ and hearing them praying together.

Shark on the Loose

Library story time with a friend.
Off to lunch at Chick-Fil-A... The boys had chicken, ran around in the playground, and traded their kids meal book for ice cream together. Look at these faces!
NJ's preschool was having a festival today. There were games, crafts, a bounce house, trunk or treat, and free food! He had fun making an oreo spider with licorice legs and ate it. He did the bean bag toss, and basketball hoops, and some coloring. They let him pick his candy when we went around for the trunk or treat. He chose M&M's every time. Silly kid. We've got M&M's to last us a year, I think. We got bottles of water, chips, fresh popcorn, and hot dogs free! The boys had their dinner taken care of, that was nice.
Trick or treating was a blast! NJ went with his friends, two ninjas, a lion, and a cutie in a tutu. They had a ton of fun together even after the neighborhood tour stopped. The boys needed a potty break so we went to our friend's house and hung out there while the kids continued to play.

I'm a little sad that I didn't get to make his costume this year. I wanted to make a shark costume until a friend sent me a link to this one on craigslist. It was cheaper than what it would have cost for the material already, let alone the time to make it. So I gave in. I still wanted to alter it to take the puffy-ness out and put the top over jeans. But Baba saw it and he wouldn't let me change it, he said it was too cute. I thought it would be too babyish since he's a boy now. But why not, he's only this small for so long. And almost all the boys his age were some kind of super hero so I guess it didn't hurt for him to be different. He can be cute for one more year, it's ok.

Puzzles

NJ is one blessed kid, we got a bunch of puzzles from our friends (thank you Uncle Steve and Auntie Helen). He's already put all of them together, he loves puzzles! Everyday he was putting all his puzzles together sometimes the same ones over and over. So now he has more to do, some different challenges. He asked me to put them together with him. I was so impressed and told him, "You're really great at this. Did you know that?" He said, "Yup. You're good at it too Mama." How sweet! He's always thoughtful and complimentary.

He got his train track back and now all he does is take it apart and put it back together over and over. He used to take it apart, but he'd give me the pieces to put it back together for him. I'm happy he's figured it out and can do it himself.

NJ wasn't feeling well so after church, he got in his pj's and watched way more tv and dvd's than he's ever watched. I just wanted him to relax and sit still since he had a bad tummy. Poor little guy.
