Some robot building.
A break for dinner. NJ loves wings just like Baba. I shared my rice and chicken, Baba shared his wings, but NJ wanted more. Sheesh. His appetite is bigger than mine.
Back to building.
He came to snuggle with me, I love snuggling with his squishy face and sweet smelling head.

We made another kind of greek salad minus the lettuce. Just tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onions, olives, and feta cheese. He seemed to love this greek salad just as much. I noticed he's been eating his meals like a Filipino with a fork and spoon. I can't tell if he's doing it out of practicality or by influence from Ah-ma and Gong-gong.
Baba scooped us each some ice cream with ice cream cones Ah-ma brought over and left. Ooh dessert!

Mom offered to have us bring the Acura we're borrowing to get an oil change and our other car to check an oil leak. It was going to be a while so we went to have an early lunch. She mentioned hot pot and I thought of the kbbq and hot pot place Christine brought me to. Yum. We had a lot of food. It was all you can eat. We probably had more hot pot than the barbecue. Mom really tried to finish all the hot pot veggies and stuff we cooked. I was done pretty early, I was full fast. As we're waiting for her to finish up she says, "Now I'm eating dinner."
We busted up laughing. She said, "I'm eating so much, it's also my dinner."
We dropped by her house and we all practically passed out until we realized that if we didn't leave soon we'd be late picking up NJ from school. So we went to get our cars. No charge for checking the oil leak, but Mom paid for the oil change. We were cutting it close so Baba took Mom's car while Mom and I each drove one car to our house. Baba picked up NJ in time, I didn't get home until about 4:00. But it worked out fine. She hung out until traffic died down.

Baba made some greek dressing again, it's so good. We made some greek salad and NJ is always nosey about what we're making and comes in to scope things out. He asked as he always does, "What are we making for dinner? What are we eating? I'm so hungry, I can't wait!"
When we said greek salad, he said, "Just salad? Nothing else?"
Nope, nothing else. It made me wonder how he'd do with dinner. When he loves something, he'll eat plenty. When he's not as excited about it, he still eats it, but not as much and not as enthusiastically. Well, Oh my... I couldn't have guessed how dinner would go. He had a taste and didn't stop with his noises... "Mmm... So good! (chomp, chomp) I love it! (crunch, crunch) This is awesome! Best dinner ever! I love it when you make food!"
I would not have thought we'd get this kind of enthusiasm over salad and nothing else for dinner. Crazy kid. Sometimes I look and him and think: Who are you? How are we so blessed?

Again with the games! NJ didn't even touch his toys because he was spoiled by Ah-ma letting him play games on the iPad. I guess he may as well soak it up since he doesn't at home. He played while we cleaned and packed up to go.
A stop for lunch before we get home.
NJ is trying to eat the walrus fries.
And trying to copy, almost, not quite.
Thumbs up for milk.
Sharing his milk.
NJ showing Baba the card he made and reading it to him.
It's a drawing of the two of them together each holding a balloon by a Christmas tree.
The two of them having ice cream together from a guy handing out ice cream cones from a truck.
NJ brought him his birthday brownie with ice cream and we sang him happy birthday.
Blowing out the candle together, how cute. Happy Birthday Baba!

Waiting to go to lunch together.
After lunch we brought him to the arcade to play some games. He and Baba together won about two hundred tickets.
We all rested a while afterwards. NJ fell asleep on the couch with Ah-ma, so cute.
There was also a bowling alley and movie theatre. We were deciding between the two. We had dinner and decided on seeing Big Hero Six together. That was a fun movie, NJ loved it. Nothing too scary, thank goodness. He did complain that he was really thirsty and was a bit restless towards the end. We had coupons to free popcorn that we shared. NJ went back with Ah-ma and Gong-gong while Baba and I stayed out a bit.

We got back and this is how we found him. Great, how are we going to fit with him laying across like this? I kept pushing his legs hoping he wouldn't just slide right off or that his head wouldn't hit the corner of the side table.
