The team did great passing the ball and working together. NJ did got in there to get the ball and defend. This is the best game he's played and an exciting game. We're proud of how well he's doing and he seems to enjoy it more now.

Cereal wasn't enough for breakfast, I guess. He made himself a peanut butter sandwich. He loves peanut butter so much he didn't bother to put in the jam or jelly. Usually he'll ask us to make him a pb&j. Today he made his own without waiting. He's been getting his own cereal for so long I don't remember exactly when. The he started pouring his own milk for it. Now he's got his own sandwiches down.
NJ was so happy to be having mini wontons and tofu. His excitement had him talking about it even at bedtime. I was feeling bad that I couldn't find anything better to make for dinner, the fridge wasn't very stocked. I fried up a few frozen dumplings, cut open a box of tofu and plopped it on a plate! When I thought I was failing at something, he thought I was giving him such a treat. He really is so easy to please and is such a blessing.

Practicing my sewing skills, mom does it much better. NJ has been asking me to mend his favorite blanket from grandma. He wouldn't stop using it and put a bunch of paper clips on it to hold it together. He was so excited to get it back. I hand sewed almost an entire side, but he still pointed out a spot that I missed. It reminds me of how much mom sews everything... For me as a kid and for NJ now. She made clothes for me when I couldn't fit into store bought clothes all those years I was sick. She made clothes for my barbies, blankets for my cabbage patch kids, and some of my favorite blankets that I still use today. NJ has his favorite too. She makes all of his torn pants (and ones that we get) into long shorts, which he loves. A lot of times I could patch things up for him, but it's not the same as when Ama does it. She has the special touch.
There are some nights that we all eat a different dinner. NJ was happy to have the rest of the spaghetti sauce with elbow pasta, I had some ravioli, and Baba cooked up chicken and zucchini. We all had a bite of each other's food. NJ loves being right there when we're cooking or prepping and helps us.
At bedtime he talked about a web getting launched into space in 2018 and the hubbles (that's what he called it) is almost done with it's job. Then something about it not being too close to the sun otherwise it'll explode. He gave a lot of other facts that I can't remember. I asked him how he knows all this. He said from Time Kids. Not bad. He's always full of random info from something he read or learned at school. He also asked about Shr Mama and Shr Baba and wants to know when they will have another baby for us. We talked about Taiwan, great grandma, Japan, our friends there, and when we'd go. NJ asked how old their youngest son is and insisted that I message his mom to ask.

Looks like he was squeezing through, gave up, and fell asleep. Doesn't look comfortable.
NJ wanted to play a game before heading out to soccer. I can't remember the last time I played or if I ever have. I wish I had recorded his explanation on how to play. He won of course, he's too good at games for us.
At bed time he asked me when Ama is coming back.
M- Which one?
NJ- Acura Ama, is she done babysitting?
M- Babysitting who? She's not babysitting, who would she be babysitting?
NJ- Uncle Perry.
M- Why would Uncle need babysitting?
NJ- Because he's younger than Ama.
M - But he's a grown adult, I think he can do without babysitting.
