All three boys were so eager to go play after eating. It gave us the chance to kind of talk which was nice.

Caught again snuggling in the laundry.
NJ is so eager to learn all 10 games. I don't even know how to play all of them! He took out all the pieces which were all over including the floor. I asked him to please pick them up so Dotty doesn't chew them. They'll get lost, ruined or she'll choke. All the little chinese checker ball pieces were mostly on the floor so he chased Dot yelling, "Don't eat the balls Dotty!" I didn't mean for him to scare her away.
So sweet to see my boys praying together.

What a cutie he is! Had a coffee date and we went a little shopping too.
"I love Pirate's Booty"
My boys playing their first game of chess together. I love it! NJ lasted for a pretty good game, we were so proud. He's been taking a chess class after school on Mondays and I'm glad he's catching on. Ah-ma was asking why chess? It's good for him for his thinking skills, patience, and something new to learn. A little nerdy-ness won't hurt him.

Baba and I saw this movie poster at a flea market a while back. We both couldn't figure out why it seemed so familiar and how we were so drawn to it. It took a while to remember that we see it every time we're at UCLA. I've been passing this poster even when I was little coming to clinic down the hall. Baba later found a mini metal version at a yard sale and bought it for me as a surprise. It's in our bedroom and when I look at it I'm reminded of my health and how thankful I am for it. Thankful for God's grace in my life.
My bug eyed Dot Dot...
I couldn't tell you how this happened, but somehow Dotty made herself at home inside this bag. I'm not surprised since she's a burrower and likes snuggling in soft stuff. She also likes going inside bags. I was just telling someone that yesterday and here she is. It was too cute. But now I have to wash all of it.
Ah-ma came over with some Taiwanese rice rolls she made.
This is NJ's second one. Why am I not surprised? As soon as she left he was asking me for a snack. Where does all this food go?
NJ's been playing with a yoyo someone gave him. Today he wanted to show me how he's able to do it three times. He instructed me on how to to do it and told me to try. I did it ten times until he asked me to catch it on the way up and I did. He squealed with excitement, he was impressed by my skills. Ha, ha. It was so cute how he showed me step by step what to do.
"Mama, Mama, Mama, let me tell you, I'll show you!" (he says this all the time now)
"Look, what's this page?"
I didn't know what he was asking so I just started reading some of it.
He says, "No, no, no. This is the contents page, see." He points to where it says, contents.
He goes on to tell me, "You look at which one you want and you go to that page..."
He asks me which one I want and he'd find the page. How sweet that he wants to show me what's he's learned and what he knows. Sometimes I wonder what he's learning in school because he frequently answers "I don't know" or "nothing" or "I don't remember" to my questions. It's whatever I can put together from anything I can get from him, from the teacher, and from his folder from school. It's little things like this that remind me he is learning, he's paying attention, he's growing and understanding.

NJ still loving his big, neon, fluffy bear. Seems to be his preferred way of holding it with it's rear in the air. It was especially funny to see him run with it as it bounced off his head.
He really likes having his buddy sit next to him. They looked comfy and cute back there together.
His heart for praise and worship is endearing. I loved watching him clap, jump up and down, and dance. I thought it was great that the kids got to stay for the first two songs before going to their classes.  Last time I was here, NJ wasn't with me. He really enjoyed the kid's program and was fine with leaving me when I dropped him off.
Can't wait to come back. Glad the boys liked it as much as I did. We love listening to the messages on their app. Yes, they have an app. :) Try it! We've gotten lots of people hooked!
We missed seeing all our weekly people at our church, but it was also nice to spend some extra time as a family.
Home sweet home. NJ was right back to his track building, legos, and cars. I was impressed that he broke out his mega blocks to use it to help build his tracks. Happy he's being inventive.
I had to set a timer for him to clean up. It was getting close to bed time and he's been lagging all weekend. Given plenty of time, he plays more than cleans or messes around. Not only did he clean up with enough time, but he also changed into his pj's. I told him if he could get it done before the timer went off he'd get an extra magnet on his board. I'm glad that worked out!
