It took some time for NJ to get comfortable with playing on all the bouncy stuff so he played the free driving game several times. He couldn't reach the pedals though, I did that for him while he steered.
Finally, his auntie went on a couple slides with him and that was the end of it. He always takes a little bit of warming up. After that he was off and running, half the time Baba and I looked at each other wondering where he was. He was off having fun.
Baba helped NJ (and some of his friends) with some slam dunks.
Time for all the sweaty kids to fill their tummies.
He was so excited about unwrapping the cupcake slowly and carefully.... He opens his mouth for the first big bite and plop, he drops it!
We give him a slice of cake instead, no more cupcakes.
Why is there always a kid with an electronic device at every party? Of coarse, our deprived son is glued to it.
NJ dashed out the door after Baba wanting to help him, but I was in a panic chasing him out the door into the parking lot.
After dropping off the gifts, the birthday girl and birthday boy both enjoyed a ride on the way back. NJ happily helped with pushing.
Some after party crafts with the kids. Followed by some Chick-Fil-A and a DVD. All snuggled up in their own blankets, how cute.
