"Can I ride the scooter?"
NJ tried out his "new" scooter on the way to our neighbor's house for a little visit. Couldn't hide it from him since he saw me throw it in the trunk. He asked many times.
"I like to feed the fish!"
They (our neighbors) were so nice to let him feed their koi, give treats to their dog, and play fetch with their dog too.
Chasing bubbles at the park!
"I want to watch ball game."
Aww, cute. Great game! NJ likes watching baseball on tv, so I thought he'd like going to a game. But my expectations were a bit high to think that he'd sit still for it. He was all over the place, I didn't even get to really watch much of it myself. Maybe next time.
"Mama, dance!"
Any one that knows me knows that I don't dance! Good thing his version of dancing was running around the house excitedly. He wanted to run with one arm up, alternating between arms. We made so many rounds that I got quite the work out. We took turns chasing each other and apparently his signal for stop was to raise one fist in the air as he stops (felt a bit like the "superstar" move, if anyone knows what I'm talking about). We had fun entertaining ourselves until Baba was home from work. He was so cute patiently waiting, once in a while just standing at the front door staring out, sitting on the bench at the door, or running to the door when he thought he heard something out front. When Baba got home he said, "Why I was waiting for you for soooo long?" The rest of the night he had a ton of fun playing and talking to his Uncle Tomo and Auntie Katherine.

Horrible Harry

NJ made this in his class last week. Everyday I stare at this face and I've been putting up with the slight smell of poop in the kitchen thinking, this guy's hair better grow! Finally today I see three little strands.

Class Field Trip #2

A cool soccer center- the first in the U.S., a European company. NJ had so much fun!
All sweaty, stopping for a water break.
Some chicken quesedilla and a capri-sun (provided to the kids) to finish the trip.
Passed out from too much fun...

Spy glasses from the army surplus store (free from when he went with Baba).
And Auntie's super cool top hat!

Before leaving: "I want some raisins to give to Cameron guh-guh."
Me- "But he won't be there, just baby."
NJ- "But I want to share him. Ah-ee can take it home for him."
Aw, how thoughtful!
Walking to the park: "Hold my hand because the cars coming and going to hit me."
Well they're not aiming for you, but yes, always hold hands while crossing the street.

I showed him the recordings I took of some songs from his class. He wanted to watch them over and over and over and do the motions too. I might have to go find that music to play for him at home.
Dot Dot likes to sit and watch NJ put together his track. Once NJ starts to run his cars on it though, Dotty runs back and forth to the opposite side of where he is to avoid him coming. She gets startled at all his car sounds he does and sudden movements.

"I want to pray for your tummy"

Play date with NJ's cousin Cooper! He was especially excited about getting into his Mini Cooper (he has all the coolest toys)! Except that it took him a bit to figure out the pedals. It's so cute to hear them talk to each other now.
Right after dinner, I was especially tired. I even laid on NJ's bed as he played with his trains. I had to run to the bathroom (to hurl) and then sat on a stool. NJ came in and said, "Mama, are you ok?" I said, "No, my tummy really hurts." His response, "I want to pray for your tummy because it hurts so it feel better." Even though I felt like I wanted to lay down or faint, he made my heart melt. What sweet heart. I mustered enough energy to put him to bed and then continued to throw up my dinner until I finally fell asleep for the night. I felt horrible, but much better in the morning. Whew, I got it out of my system! It's unfortunately a total norm for my stomach to go crazy over anything.
