A tiny baby hidden in the bouquet at the table. How odd and how funny, I've never seen that before!
I guessed right, it's a boy! :)
NJ and Baba were supposed to be with me, but they couldn't make it. NJ still got quite the goody bag of cool stuff and I brought home lots of goodies for Baba too! Wish they could have been with me.
NJ's first diving board dive! Guh-guh said he was going to jump, I asked him if he wanted to too. And that was it, he was out of the pool headed for the diving board. It made me proud that he wasn't hesitant or scared. Uncle Scott went closer to him just in case since I was too short to wait for him at the deep end. He did fine though and did it a few times. I love it! I forgot his goggles or a ring for him, but he was fine swimming back and forth. Yay!
Some one is happy with his own bowl of chips. Although when I asked him to share, he did.
With greasy chip hands, I asked him to go inside to get a napkin. He disappeared and this is where I found him. Hmmm... did he ever get that napkin? I thought it was so cute seeing these three together that I completely forgot why I was looking for him.
Again, he disappears and here he is playing quietly and nicely with his guh-guh and di-di. How nice.
I asked him to eat sitting criss cross, but he wanted to eat like this. It made for the most awkward food shoveling from plate to mouth. I would have taken a photo of that, but it wasn't pretty.

NJ wanted his pb&j to be a Christmas tree shape. Reminds me of when he was littler. Most of the time he just wants a train now. He even removed a bunch of stuff from inside the cabinet to fish the cookie cutter out.
His hair was all over the place this morning so I had to gel it. The first spirit shirt Friday at school.
After I dropped NJ off at school, Mama went for a little exercise. We walked around a small lake where there were plenty of ducks, people walking, running, biking, and fishing.
After school we went for a visit at Ah-ma's for a bit. He really wanted to bring his shaky bridge.

We stopped by the market for ingredients for dinner. He was my little helper at the store.
NJ chose a movie night for his reward for filling up his chart. I couldn't make him wait, he's been so excited and asking. He got to choose some treats of caramel corn, a couple of cookies, and a few m&m's. Part of the purpose is to spend time with him, but unfortunately Baba hasn't been feeling well today. I had to get a head start on dinner, but watched some of it with him. He seemed to be just as happy either way.

Baba and NJ were throwing the sticky muscle man at the window together.
Muscle man broke already! Ah-gong brought lots of goodies from his trip to Europe including a mini working coo-coo clock. How thoughtful that he brought gifts even if it was his birthday that we were celebrating.
Reading his card together.

Someone is still tired! Had to get him up this morning. Usually he wakes us up already dressed for the day.

Baba was trying to help him with his collar, but was tickling him instead.
NJ's excited about his "new" lunch bag. His old one was small and started getting dirty and stinky. It's time to retire that one. This one's nice and roomy and easy to clean. He likes that he can clip it on his backpack himself. (Thank you for sharing, Joshua!)

NJ and Baba are helping load the truck with a lot of baby stuff! It's been piled in the family room as I made a collection of stuff.

A bag of soft baby toys, a bag of clothes 6-12 months, and a bag of blankets.

Pack'n'plays, stroller, crib bedding, floor mat, bibs, burp cloths, lots of stuff. You forget how much a tiny little human needs.

Like father like son. NJ and Baba both got dressed separately and they're both wearing while polo shirts. Cute.
We had a morning brunch this morning between services. It was nice to get there a little early, enjoy some food, meet new people and chat with the familiar friends. They went all out with oatmeal cookies, fresh fruit, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, orange, juice, coffee...
NJ moved up to his new classroom today, pre-k. They had waffles in there too, but said he didn't want any because he already had some. Good job with self control!
