he loves getting his attendance card sticker. he runs to get his domo backpack to get it out and bring it to miss christine. today was especially enjoyable to him since there hasn't been class in weeks.

nj got something extra special today from auntie, buns! from 85 degrees, no less. he loves his breads, he still asks for bread and crackers all day long. our hungry little eater.

nj, cameron, and gaby sat together during dinner. it was cute to see them together. gaby occasionally sat with mom and dad. when she was out of her seat, he'd point to her seat and ask for her. he'd say her name repeatedly, "gaby, gaby..."

you gonna eat that baba?

nj really wanted some cake, he stared and stared with his eyes wide and mouth open. he kept saying, "please, please, please". it was cute today when he wanted veggie chips, he actually said his please and thank you's! it made us so happy to hear him do that finally without asking.

this morning he picked up this toy from grandma & grandpa and repeated: "ah-ma, hungry". i thought it was strange that he'd be saying that grandma is hungry. then he turned it on and the first thing the toy says is: "i'm hungry..." (the buttons are dog biscuit shapes, you press the letter it asks to feed the dog). i had to put the references together (with almost everything he's been saying). the last time he played with the toy, he was playing with grandma.

the face

he makes this face when one of us leaves the room or house. and he says in a whiney voice: "baba" or "mama" (or others he loves). it's cute and sad at the same time. sometimes when he hears us in another part of the house, he'll say where we are or what we're doing. if baba is taking a shower, he'll say: "baba, shower". or if he's outside, nj will say: "outside, baba, outside". all while pointing.
