NJ putting his feet up after coming down the slide.
Baba doesn't look quite as relaxed, maybe more like tired or hurt.
He landed on his foot funny so he wanted to sit first before continuing.
It wasn't only the kids that were having fun playing. The guys all looked like school boys playing and watching video games. Made me laugh.
NJ was into it too, mostly watching the racing games.
He came over to say hello.
That looks comfy. Taking a break?
Dads sitting on kiddie chairs as they talked business. Ha, ha.
Lining up for food, everyone looks hungry.
Good job with your pizza, NJ.
Time to sing happy birthday to the birthday girl and boy!
And time for cake!
Like father like son, playing the same game on these pretend phones. How cute.
Baba got all the rings into place and wanted to get a picture. I have a thing for taking pictures of people taking pictures. I think it's funny.
Wow, lots of gifts!
And lots of food too.
We dropped by our house and talked to our neighbors taking a walk. We showed them the construction in our house and the kids played in the front yard. It's hard to tell, but NJ is mid air as he jumps from one circle to another.
Baba made some re-fried beans with cheese as a dip with some chips. Ah-ma gave NJ cut up pieces of frozen banana. He used the banana to dip into the beans. My reaction with a loud gasp made everyone jump. I asked him what he was doing. He looks at me like I'm the crazy one. Baba tells him,  do what you want, but I don't think you'll like it. Eeew!

The guys came back today because they forgot to do the closet in NJ's room and the ceiling in the laundry room.
NJ waited outside. I got him a juice from the fridge. It's pretty warm today and inside the house is too stuffy and dusty.
Now that this part of the house isn't sealed, we can see all the walls and ceilings they took out.
Back at my mom's, NJ got Ah-ma to build legos with him. It feels like it's been a really long week!

"Weeding is great, right Mama?"

We dropped by the house before picking up NJ from school. Still working on the asbestos removal, it should be done today.
Some extra time to play before going home. He seems much happier playing than he is either at home with the chaos, or at grandma's where it's not really home.
While Baba went to talk to the guys working on our place, NJ and I worked on the weeds out front. It's pretty bad. They grew especially fast after the rain a couple weeks ago.
When Baba was done, he joined us. He did the last of the weeds while NJ tried to shoot them into the trash. Not bad, he got this one in. I went inside to grab some some stuff.
Ah-ma made noodles for dinner, NJ ate them so loudly. He wanted everyone to know how much he enjoyed it, but I tried to tell him it wasn't that the noisy eating wasn't nice to hear. The "mmmm" sounds were ok though.
Tomorrow his class is celebrating his teacher's birthday with cupcakes and a little party. We made a card for her and NJ wanted to give her some milk caramels that Ah-ma brought back from Taiwan. Hope she likes it.

After playing at the play ground after school, we came home to wait for Baba and Ah-ma. Her flight was delayed and they got stuck in traffic so we talked as we waited. We both fell asleep. He fell asleep sitting up and then leaned over on to me. NJ was so excited he made himself tired. By the time they were back it was time for dinner.
Grandma brought him some cool stuff back from Taiwan.
Some fun slippers and a mini cooper.
I asked if he could offer to help. She asked him to get the scissors to cut off the tags on her luggage.
Dotty the luggage inspector. She had her nose everywhere in there. When it was less full she was practically inside. All kinds of new smells!
Amongst feeling unsettled and stressed, we're trying to keep things as normal as we can. His nightly devotionals is a great time for us to read, learn, talk, and pray. He's still praying about our house and hoping it will get fixed faster. Us too.

Our house is being sealed up early this morning, hopefully it won't be too long for them to get the asbestos out. We went in to grab some last minute things we forgot.
We dropped by before picking up NJ from school. The house was covered in plastic except for the right side of the house.
We are back at Ah-ma's house. We packed the cars yesterday and stayed our first night last night. Tonight we'll be hanging out again, NJ and Dotty are getting comfy. We also had visitors from his friend and her mom (my friend) who just recently moved across around the corner from here. Fun! We got to talk while the kids played (with legos of coarse).
