My only photo with all the kids we met with today. It was nice to share a meal together.
I didn't even take out my camera when we went to the pool this time, but the kids had so much fun again.
We got them a snack after again. Why not, we don't do it everyday! And look at this happy face. :)

Children's Museum

Back to some of his favorites from last time. Working on the car...
Building a car from legos...
Even Baba had fun making something our of popsicle sticks, paper, and string.
Surprisingly, they spent quite a bit of time in the toddler room.
The giant lite brite was fun and going up and down the twelve story middle.
I wrote on the chalk column: We heart NJ!
Fun with water which got him drenched.

The sign says, Wasn't That Awesome?
Yes!

Gotcha Day

NJ was restless during our breakfast with my aunt and uncle so I let him take pictures with my camera. These are two of my favorites, silly guy.
We let him choose a cupcake as a special treat. He wanted the strawberry lemonade that he completely finished!
After our afternoon treat, we went to an arcade to play some games and have some fun together.
Lots to celebrate this weekend! We're remembering the day that we officially became a family with NJ, Father's day, and our friend's wedding anniversary. Not to mention the end of school for the kids. Yay! It was a great day with lots of fun with our lovable kids. Feeling very blessed.

Road Trip

Snack, coffee, and pee break, plus meeting up with our road trip buddies.
Getting in some relaxing pool time was a must!
The kids worked up an appetite from being in the pool. NJ was excited to pick what he wanted. How could we refuse these sweet faces?
Hide and seek in a hotel room for almost an hour! It might have been the most fun they had all weekend. It was especially funny for the dads laughing at their silliness.
My skirt that looks so much better as a dress on our friend's daughter. I knew my pants would've been too big to borrow, but this worked out better than any of us thought, beautiful!
NJ must've eaten three pickles through dinner, he loves them. He's just like Baba.

No cooking for tonight. We drove aimlessly for a while until we decided to try this recommended place we pass all the time.

NJ really wanted to go to the park across the street from his school. He met a little friend and we stayed until she left too.
Our rearranging and home organizing continues. NJ was surprised to see his room different today. While he was at school Baba and I worked on his room. Sorted his toys, consolidated boxes, put away old stuff, vacuumed, and cleaned. It was nice to see the crib not a crib anymore, but more like a seat. There's no place else to put it so it's always remained in his room. Now we can use it to sit on, read, and put his toys on. It looks and feels so much better to have things put away and cleared.
It made me happy to see NJ riding around the block so fast and easily where it's flat and there's an actual sidewalk. He got a lot of energy out today.

"Mama can I have pancakes? Pleeeeeeease?"

As usual, NJ wakes me up to say he's hungry. Today he had a request for me to make him pancakes. I told him he's going to be hungry for longer because it's going to take time to make them. He says he'll help me. If only he knew how much longer it actually takes for him to "help"! I love his helpful sweet heart, though, I love that about him. He did help me pour some ingredients and stir it. I tried a new pancake recipe, whole wheat pancakes with apples. I didn't have buttermilk, though so I'm sure it would have been better with it. When Baba came out for breakfast NJ says, "Baba, eat your pancake, it's good!" Yay, it makes me so happy to know he likes it, to see him happy, and to see that smile of his.

A fun afternoon at our friend's after church. Our monthly meeting together. We all had quite the feast and even the kids ate really well. Yay! We were proud of NJ for playing nicely and quietly on his own (as far as we know). It helps that there were a ton of great toys that were new to him. This little guy ate almost the whole time... Pizza, taquito, chicken nugget, curry and rice, grapes, banana cake, jello, chips, cheese balls, shaved ice, and even asked for chocolate. I finally cut him off at the chocolate, too much! Although it probably wouldn't have made much difference by then. Yikes, he's one growing boy!
