baba joined in on the class with nj today. i was too tired, i need more sleep!

outing with auntie doris

discovering new and cool places to go nearby. today we went to downtown fullerton for some grub and then boba. nj was well behaved and listened. he sat nicely in regular seats at both places. auntie doris was nice enough to help with my solid two year old... i can no longer lift him, only for a second or two. after, auntie offered to have him go with her while i get settled at home first. he went straight for the toys and didn't want to leave. when she said: "let's go home." nj shook his head, took her keys, and put them back on the table. ha, ha. she walked him home with her mom. they helped me put him down for a nap so i could nap. when he got up, he was asking for them. so sweet.

it's going to be a great day!

this is how he started out the day by crying because he wanted his milk. he whined: "nay- nay. nay- nay..." it was like this all day, the whining, the crying, asking for food and milk. he was challenging and didn't want to play on his own as he usually does. my stomach pains didn't help, all i could do was sit or lay down. his sad face made me want to cry... i wanted to be able to play with him or help him feel better. maybe it's the weather change, not having a long enough nap, his teeth hurting, or just not having a good day. i don't know. :( hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

in the morning and in the car, he likes to point out the sun: "sun, sun..." and in the evening he points out the sunset: "sunset, sunset..." as he leads us to the part of the house that we can see it.

saw this at sam's club and laughed. so baba put it in nj's hands. it was heavy for him, after the photos he dropped it on the floor!

haircut number three

the front isn't that straight, he kept moving quite a bit. he was very preoccupied with turning the taxi wheel and trying to look at the hair clippers

it still amazes me how much he looks like his grandpa.

dad brought us shirts from his brazil trip. nj happily pointed out everything that he knew. when i asked him where the trees were, he pointed at them and said: "palm tree". i didn't even know he knew they were palm trees or could say it!

look ah-gong, i can stack my trucks! (first time i've seen him do this)
