On the way home from school, he tells me: "I can hula hoop! Only with the yellow one." That's good to hear. I don't think I've ever even seen him with a hula hoop or try it. That means he has some coordination. By other things he does, you never can tell. With most things, he's still learning.
After picking up NJ, I told him we needed to pick up Dotty. He asked me a ton of questions!
NJ: "Why we need to pick up Dotty? Where did she go?"
"What's that? What's a vet?"
"But why? What happened? Is she ok? What do they do with them when they're done? Where do they put them?"
"Aww, poor Dotty. Ok, I'll be nice to her. Why she not feeling well?"
"Why? Why she has her teeth cleaned and why her teeth got pulled?"
"Why?"
Oh dear. Too many questions! Glad he's so curious.
"Hey, where did this come from? Where is this from? Why I have this now? Is this for me?" My book group had a potluck, going-away, birthday, end of the book, and exchange night. Such good food, good prayer, good sharing, and lots of stuff exchanged. I came home with shirts, a dress, shoes, toys for NJ, a rug, peanut butter, and milk! I brought some stuff I couldn't fit anymore and a bunch of random household things not being used. Yay! I got clothes without shopping! NJ liked the stuff I brought home for him. I left it out so he saw it and played with it right away.
As a disclaimer, NJ chose his own pajamas to wear after his bath! He chose pants with the incredibles characters and a shirt with doggies. Ha, ha. As long as he's comfy and warm, I just thought it was funny.
