This happens quite often of coarse and it doesn't help that a little someone leaves crumbs constantly. So this time I told him, "Next time you see one ant, just kill it."
NJ- "How? But I can't."
- "Yes you can. You just get a tissue and smush it. It's easy."
NJ- "But what if it's still there and it crawls on me? I don't want it to be on my hand."
- "That's why you have to kill it."
Sure enough as he continues to eat breakfast more ants come. I asked him to brush up his crumbs and he takes the brush and starts his killing spree. He chanted, "Kill, kill, kill!" and "Hi-ya!" as he hit the floor with the brush. After a while I asked him to finish his breakfast and he says, "But I need to kill ants." Oh dear, I created a monster.

He asked me, "A while ago we see the boat parade like the lighting mcqueen one when I was turned one year old and we watch it and I said hi?"
Huh? It took me a bit to process and figure out what in the world he was talking about. I asked if he said boat or bike parade and he said yes. Hmm... Then I realized he was talking about the rose parade that we recently watched. One of the floats was of cars land with some cars characters. I also told him about how we used to go to see the rose parade every year because we lived so close we could walk. And when he was little, after he turned one, we took him to see it and he waved to all the people in the parade. He consolidated that into one statement. I wonder what made him think of that so randomly.
