It was another great day for the pool especially after a day of cleaning and errands. 

Do you want to go to Ah-ee's house? (I think that's a yes!)

I got to see NJ in action. I was wondering why he picked up the controller and he tells me, "I now how to play Mama, guh-guh teach me how."
Ok... I sat with him to watch. NJ still needs to get the hang of it, but at least he tried. I've never seen him play a video game! Ha, ha. My poor deprived son, other kids totally know what they're doing already. 

On the couch this morning I find elephant all tucked in. 

NJ likes to rest in the car with his baby blanket still, reminds me of when he was a baby. 

Packing is crazy. How will I fit all the stuff on the left into the thing on the right? Ugh. 

My mom offered a slightly larger one, but I'm not sure that will be good for lugging around. NJ modeled it for me today. It looks like he could fit in this one! Oh how I wish I could steal him away!

Farmer's Market Friends

NJ and Baba did their sampling at the farmer's market. I'm not a sampler, I just trust their judgement. NJ was also finishing off some pretzels from his class. 

These beef sticks for dogs were almost as tall as him.

Someone found his classmate and friend! The one he talks about on the way home from school every time. He always says that he's invited Zak to our house or that Zak's coming over or that I have to let his parents follow us home. 

 I'm happy that we decided to go to the farmer's market today. We got to meet Zak's parents and talk to them. It was great to find out that they are creatives like us! We had lots to talk about, which was nice. I was so excited to see him with his own friend. Not a kid he plays with because we are friends with their parents, or someone we introduced to him. It was nice to know that he made a friend on his own. Before I really wasn't sure if he had friends at school or not. They were adorably funny and sweet together. They had their own conversations, played their own games, followed each other around, and half the time they had their arms around each other. They were protective of each other and helped each other on the play ground with a bunch of other kids also there. I'm so happy to have seen these two in action. God is good to my happy guy, what a blessing. Hope we can do a play date soon! 

We had a special visit today, Auntie Becca. We had a lot to talk about, went to lunch, and a little trip to Daiso (what Baba calls my disneyland of stores). Auntie felt the same after an extensive walk through. It was like old times when we used to sit around at each other's houses and talked the day through just relaxing. I miss it, but soak up the time we do have. 

NJ got a lei at school today. It was very fitting that he was wearing a shirt with luau girls on it. 

"Don't wash without me, ok Baba?"

NJ was so eager to help with washing both cars. He even told Baba not to wash without him. He made up a song about washing the car and everything. So cute to watch them work together.

The only photo I took all day! NJ was pretty patient with our long day at HOPE. Had our last meeting on Japan, lots of questions to be answered. Baba and NJ had their bonding time together while waiting. We didn't get home until the evening.
