Last Day of School

NJ's grown so much this year and learned a lot. He's matured and it's been a big difference from last year. We're very proud of him and how well he's done academically and socially too. He made some new friends, good friends, classmates, and teacher. Baba and I got to know some of the parents which is nice. I was missing my daily drop off conversations with the parents I saw every morning. When I got sick, I disappeared and have not been able to be at pick up and drop off with NJ. It made me sad so I really wanted to at least drop in to say hello on the last day of school. Baba went early to actually join their party they had and called me to tell me when it was almost over so that I could go for a few minutes. I wish I didn't have to miss so much of the last of his school. But I'm here now, happy to be with him to celebrate his last day! 

NJ rolled his chest full of trains and tracks across the house and took over the hall way. He couldn't wait to show us what he made. He asked me first since I tell him he can't build where people will trip on it. I told him he could as long as it doesn't stay there. Pretty creative use of the space. 

Another visit to clinic, two appointments to get through. So tired, hoping to hear some decent news. 

Field trip at school today. It was a lady who brought her mini reptile zoo. NJ is holding a bearded dragon. He was excited about holding all kinds of animals. Parents were invited to join. I really wanted to go, but Baba went. He seemed to enjoy it just as much as NJ did. They said that it was a little chaotic with all the kids, the creatures, and the lady talking on a dying mic system. NJ raved about it all day and told us facts about the reptiles.
