My first time venturing out of the house. We picked up a little potted myers lemon tree for mom. Since she always likes the ones from our trees. Now she can have her own. We asked her to come to the backyard so we could show her.
While back there, she recruited the boys to pick some loquat from her tree.
NJ wanted to go to the side to pick some that were lower, but there was a lizard on one of the stepping stones. We told him not to scare it off and just leave it alone. So he just watched it for a while.
Mom is taking care of our potted plumeria. It wasn't getting enough water sitting at the house while we're not there.
Mmm, cheese cake and a fruit tart to celebrate. NJ can't wait to dig in!
After NJ's in bed, the place turned into a workshop or sweat shop. We made cushions for NJ's classroom for the kids to sit on during story time.
Baba loosely sewed the batting to the foam.
Ah-ma sewed the cow or leopard print cover.
I was the product tester.
They worked until 12:00 or 1:00 on six of these. We joked about how we were making my mom work on her birthday. She laughed and said she enjoyed it. That's my mom, always willing to help and always the hardest worker.
