in attempt to keep him from falling asleep, we resorted to tickling. so he'd nap longer when we got home. we tried turning up the radio, talking loud, leg nudging, a book, even snacks! but his head kept nodding and his eyes heavy, he looked drunk.

nj loves dotty, but the feeling is no longer mutual. she loves to sun bathe, but gets up and runs away when he comes running towards her squealing excitedly. poor girl, she's getting old and just wants to relax- hard to do with an active toddler around.

pilipino boy

baba says he's our little pilipino kid today with his socks and open sandals. hee, hee.

my mom got it from her friend's granddaughter, who out grew it. maybe we'll use it once he starts to climb his crib, but so far, he's still happy to sleep in it. he's growing up too fast!

he started picking up our cameras, bringing it to us, and saying: "eeeee, eeeees, eeeee..."

it's a good thing he likes his photo taken with a photographer as his baba.

it was about 112 degrees today!! to get out, i took him to the mall. i told him to stay close and not to touch anything. he stood nicely with his hands behind his back, so i took a picture.

box 'o' cars

he brought out his box full of cars, trucks, and a bus to show me.

afternoon meltdown...

not only was it horribly hot (with no inside seating), but he was getting cranky and needed a nap! thanks soohoo's (+mike) for inviting us to lunch, great spending time with you.
