Early Easter Lunch with Grandparents

Dot and monkey, smushed face to face.
NJ helping to set the table, what a great helper!
Boys building.
Grandparents on their phones... What's wrong with these two pictures?
NJ wanted to know more than just the chorus of Christ the Solid Rock. Is that the title? I don't even know! He and my mom love to sing it together, which is the cutest thing. He wanted to know the start of the song, so he wrote it down to read and sing with my mom as she sings from an old hymn book. Instead of re-writing his mistakes he just wrote over them, but it's pretty legible. I try to record them singing, but it's too long to post or he stops singing. I love it though, I hope he never stops.
Mom bought some sushi for lunch. Ah-ma and Gong-gong brought chocolate. They happily ate it together.
My dad had to go a little early so I got caught a photo of them before he left. I completely forgot to take one of him and his Ah-ma and Gong-gong too (Baba's parents). It feels incomplete without it!
NJ wanted a photo with his firetruck and station from his Ah-goo (uncle Perry). He really had to climb to get back there, but that's where he wanted to be for the photo!
The boys, so cute how snuggly and affectionate they are.
Baba and his car creation. I love taking pictures of him taking pictures.
Don't scare her, just pet nicely.
Aww...

Group Easter Fun

My mom was nice enough to teach the girls a bit about sewing, they made little pouches. They seemed to love it. And I know my mom enjoyed the time teaching them.
The boys painted some bird houses. And some tee shirts too. The moms did some tote bags.
The sitting still game. They all did such a great job and took it very seriously!
They all got to choose something at the snow fluff place.
The kids going through their Easter baskets, so fun!
Boys having fun racing their lego car creations.
What a full day with family and friends, celebrating Easter!

House and Haircut

Maybe the floors will be done today.
NJ wanted to take a peak, but only for a minute.
The floors are back!
So is our fridge.
I asked him if he could tell the difference. He did notice the color difference, but didn't remember the panels on the wall.
Hair cut time.
There were some ladies waiting that loved watching him get his hair cut, complimented how well he's doing, and how cute he was.
Yay, our handsome guy. We were so proud of what a great job he did that we asked him where he wanted to go. He chose the toy store. I went to the dollar store while they browsed together. I got some goodies for the kids coming over tomorrow.

Good Friday

NJ and Ah-ma watching an old bible story on tv. She gave the play by play of what was going on. NJ asked questions about the plot. She even asked him about the leading lady, "Isn't she good looking?"
NJ, "Yeah."
Putting together some more eggs for another hunt tomorrow.
My mom gave me these cute Easter stickers that look like they could be from when I was little.
NJ was happy to help!
Easter Baskets ready for little hands to go through them.

Easter Party

Baba and I took the eggs from the kids' desks to glue their feet, ears, and whiskers on.

There were so many eggs, it was hard to actually hide them.

Wait! Not too much candy, there's still a party waiting in the classroom.

His egg was missing an eye, but Baba found and replaced it.
Baba, Mom, and I went to volunteer in his class doing the craft, getting the food ready, hiding the eggs, and helping with the hunt. That was fun. It was nice to hang out with the other parent volunteers and see the kids have so much fun.
