yay for vacuuming, baba!

he had an audience of nj, dot-dot, joy, and occasionally me. every time baba stopped the vacuum, he was cheered by nj's clapping! he really likes to watch. we told him it would become his first chore when he's old enough, since he enjoys it so much!

help auntie, don't laugh!

auntie joy helped be my support while trying to... you know what! i don't think the laughing helped, though.

time out

his second and then third! (the first was on vacation). he's not allowed in dot's room because he always spills her food and water. he kept going over there and i couldn't pull him away. i said everything i normally do to stop him and when it didn't, i said, "do you want a time out?" that stopped him right in his tracks! woo-hoo, it worked!! now if only i could get the timer to work!

i told nj he looked ready for a night on the town, hee, hee. good thing baba wasn't around, he would not be have been amused! they were just the easiest shoes to put on, but that's the last time i leave them out.

learning to pose early...

with a photographer baba, he's learning young. i caught him sitting by the window this morning, posing. 

buckle up...

nj has been trying to do his buckle on his booster seat the last couple days. today he buckled both sides several times. then he'd come to tug on me and point at it for me to undo it, so he could start over. 

my first chopsticks!

the chopsticks are from his great-auntie. we brought them out to let him try it the first time. he did a great job, we were so proud!

a little trip to bed bath and beyond ended with me getting my long awaited slow cooker! my last one fell to pieces... literally. finally i have another one and can't wait to use it!

this kitchen is fun, mama!

we went to children's orchard to find a chair for him to read in. no chairs, but a fun little play kitchen that he was glued to. it was a little like cousin cooper's.

this little grasshopper didn't move much and was loads of entertainment for both nj and dot. dot dot scratched at the back window and barked, while nj pointed to it over and over, giggling excitedly.

some of his old toys left at grandma's followed us home, so he had fun rediscovering his kung-fu panda figures.

 since he was sitting down, pointing at his belly button made his finger disappear! he had to dig into his belly bulge to find it. funny.

i gave him his own container of raisins and he went to sit himself on the chair to enjoy them.

oh, there it is!

nj enjoyed eating cheerios from a stacking cup, sitting in the little seat... kind of. we had to lure him away by giving him the container of his own cheerios!

hug ji-ae ji-ae!

it looks a little creepy in this photo, but it was actually quite cute! he really likes her and hugged her three times so we could get a photo!

do we really have to go?

he really didn't want to leave the toddler's room. we were almost the last ones there. for someone that cries when we leave, he was having himself a really great time!

nj really enjoyed holding onto the cheerios and helping himself to it, needless to say, it made him really happy!

ooh... food toys!

sorry baby, can't eat them. mom found a stash of my old kitchen and food toys. no wonder he loved gabby's food toys! oh boy.
