his big belly shows in this outfit. baba asked him where his belly button was and he tried to lift it. but it's all one piece, ha ha! he even said, "belly". and during dinner, baba said "thank you" and nj said, "welcome". we both looked at each other in surprise! he also put together, "more please". which sounds more like, "mo pleh". close enough! i've been trying to get him to say those two words together for so long!

he points his toy remote at the tv. when it doesn't turn on, he points at the tv and tells me to turn it on for him.

he pointed and called out "bird!" every time he saw one. it kept him occupied for a little while.

tonight i read him his "night night prayer" book. i ask him where something is (in the picture) and he points at it. he pointed at a picture of a door and said, "open door". finally, more than just one word! yay!

mama's helper...

he kept trying to pull everything off the table, so i gave him a job. i gave him scraps of paper to throw away in the trash. he gladly did it. just give him a task to do and he stays out of trouble, ha ha.
