NJ seemed unsure of being crowded by a lot of loud teenagers. Oh my, were we that obnoxious when we were teenagers? There were crowds of them, I didn't know we were at such a popular place!
There was a $1 deal for students at Jamba, so I had to get some. He didn't have a student ID, but I asked if his uniform was ok. I don't think they really cared, they know most younger kids won't have an ID and they didn't ask.
I had already promised him some frozen yogurt when I picked him up from school. Maybe I shouldn't have. It was for filling his chart. I also thought it would be nice since it's so hot and he finished his first full week of school. We're so proud of him for adjusting so well. He's one lucky boy today getting two treats! At least it wasn't that much of either. On the way to the car he told me, "I really have to floss because that was a lot of sugar."
He's been saying to me everyday: "Mama, you haven't taken a picture yet. I finished the puzzle."
I didn't feel like cooking and rolls are nice and refreshing for a hot day. Everything was ready to go. I pulled everything out when he said: "Mama, you need to start cooking because I'm getting really hungry."
NJ liked the idea of eating dinner together outside. Poor Dot Dot, she was peering from the inside the whole time.
This is roll number five, he ate as much as I did.
NJ picked out two books for me to read him. We got a reading log today to fill in, fifteen minutes a day.
He reminded me about needing to floss after brushing. I also went through the new chart with him. It's more of a "things to work on" type chart. It's gone from things like: sleep, potty, and getting dressed, to feeding Dotty, no attitude, and clean up after yourself. He's growing and learning, seems so fast. It's strange to look through his school folder to see his homework and assignments. How did this happen?
