abc's & 123's

tonight he repeated the alphabet (letter by letter) to us. we know he can say all the letters, but never in a row at once. usually he loses interest half way. he also repeated one through ten for us, he normally doesn't care to go past five.

bye, bye mama

nj has been saying "bye, bye", it's cute. he didn't want me to go today, he came to the window to stare and pout. so sad, but so cute. he's got quite the lower lip!

cookie monster's back!

we thought the battery ran out because he stopped talking, but he's back i guess! and nj's happy! last night during dinner, cookie monster suddenly and mysteriously fell from the top of the shelf. as he fell, we heard: "coooookiiiiiiiiieeeee!!"
we all looked at each other and then busted up laughing. that was bizarre and hilarious...

shoo fly!

it was 97 degrees today, so we had all the windows and doors open. a fly got in and circled our dinner. he copied us as we tried waving it away. he even repeated, "fly. fly. fly."

slow down, buddy!

what you can't see (hidden by his hand) is how much noodle he has stuffed in his mouth with half of it hanging out.

he loves musical instruments, it makes him so happy.

"little" eater

lately he's literally been eating more than me every time we sit for a meal together. at least now he says, "more please".

this is what i walked two blocks for?

nj got a whole lot of candy, but we didn't give him any. i felt bad, but then i spotted a little box of raisins when i poured out the candy into a bowl. he seemed happy enough with his raisins. what he doesn't know won't hurt him, he won't even remember!
