I can't even recall how it happened, but we ended up spending half the day at my mom's friend's house helping out. Even NJ did some dusting then he got to watch Lady and the Tramp. We were exhausted and knocked out the rest of the day. What happened to our saturday? At least we could spend it together, got some relaxation in, and helped someone in need.

As we're driving he begs me to open the sun roof. He spends the whole time staring at the sky and passing trees, telling me all about what he sees. I hesitated, but glad that he was able to enjoy that simple pleasure.
NJ really wanted to show me the dinosaurs he made with Ah-ma and asked me to take a picture of them. Good job coloring and making them.
Taking his bike for a spin.
He ate dinner so nicely I let him have a little bit of frozen yogurt saved from a while back. So great that he didn't know the difference and enjoyed it just as much.
A couple games of memory together. It always works out that he wins one and I win one. That makes us both happy. :)

"But where will I put my lunchbox?"
NJ's first day of summer session at his preschool. He had a week off after his first complete year of preschool. He was excited to return, he likes it so much. Poor guy is bored at home with me. There was concern over not having his old teacher, asking about about his new teacher and where he would put his lunchbox.
There was a fly or bug that he caught. So glad he doesn't ask me to do it for him anymore. And glad he's not scared of bugs like he used to be.

"I'll close your door, Mama."
"Can Ah-ma stay for dinner?"
"Picture with elephant."
"Baba can you build me number three?"
I was proud of him when he asked to play with his hot wheels track I told him he needed to trade something else to get it. He gave me his big yellow dump truck that he loves. I was surprised that he'd give that up willingly.
"I need to floss, Baba. You too."

What a sweetheart, I love when he holds the door for me. He's becoming a gentleman, he opens and closes doors for me too.
NJ really wanted to push the cart when we met Ah-ma at the store.
He did a good job when I asked him to watch the cart, he wouldn't leave it even when we did.
He asked to play memory after dinner, I won a game and he won a game.

My sleepy, sweaty boy. We had an earlier morning than usual. We all went to church early so I could help with making lunch with our Japan team for the congregational meeting. Sandwiches, salad, fruit, cookies, and banana cake, yum!
NJ played so nicely with his legos while we finished up some more rearranging. We're so thankful for the help we got from a friend today too. It was easier than Baba moving furniture by himself.
