NJ really likes to rearrange the cabinet shelf where the peanut butter and jam are. He likes it in particular spots. Sometimes I change it just to see if he'll leave it, but nope, he changes it back.

His strange wave goodbye. It's always with his arm extended as if to try and reach my face with his feet in place.

NJ got a few pieces of M&M's after dinner. He likes to count it and talk about what colors he's going to eat and in what order. He also likes to tell other people what order to eat them in and how. We asked if he'd share and said Auntie Nicole could have four and I could have seven. I told him that it's always polite to give the guests more. Silly. He even told Auntie to turn over each piece so that the M was showing. We all noticed that he was saying Auntie Ma-cole. Strange. He was super excited about coming over and joining us for dinner. I think he was tired because he was acting loopy and crazy. He went to bed shortly after dinner while Auntie and I did some crafts.

"Can you dust this?"

As I'm getting ready, he comes into the bathroom and says, "Why you putting that?"
"It's make up. You put it on when you're old."
"I'm older now already."
"Make up is not for boys!"
As I'm checking my email, he brings something to me and says, "Can you dust this?" Oh dear, he really is like me!
As we're driving he asks, "Are you wearing your seatbelt?"
Yes I am, thank you for being concerned for my safety!

"Tonix? You eat tonix?"

It's Protonix, actually. I won't name all the meds I have, but he repeated everyone of them as I filled in my med trays. He pulled up the stool to watch. Normally, I don't let him near my meds I just tell him he can see and not touch anything. (I also tell him all the time to never eat any ever... it's only to eat when you need it and for the person it's meant for otherwise you get sick.) He's really good about it except when he wants to help and tries to bring it to me or something. I let him close the little compartments when I was done. He liked saying the names of them and describing them and telling me which ones I missed. "White one, red one, yellow one, round one, little one, pink one... That one has butterfly on it?" It's a little design, but not a butterfly. He better not be going around telling people I take pills with butterflies on it! Baba used to always tell me I needed these days of the week trays and I always refused. I said it's for old people who can't remember what to take and when and if they've taken it or not. Well, I got these along with huge boxes full of meds after leaving the hospital last year and I've had to use them. Too many to remember and too many bottles to open and close several times a day! At least now it's less again, but not as little as just two or three like before. I still feel like I'm old for using them. At least it's not the ones with the huge letters and numbers, that would be funny.

Class Pajama Party

Pancakes, juice, fruit, and sausage, how fun!

"I can play with trains?"

We visited on Monday too and as we're getting out of the car he asks, "I can play with trains?"
"What trains?"
"Cameron guh-guh's"
"How do you know he has trains?"
"Ah-ee told me!"
I asked her and she said she told him the last time they were at our house. Well he had so fun playing that day and tonight. It's nice that they play so well to together now that he's older and can communicate with Cameron. Soon it'll be all three boys playing all together, that'll be fun!

"I want it burned." When he says burned, he means toasted. Maybe because he thinks it's one in the same. Or maybe because our toaster is too strong and burns everything so easily. It's the first time this morning he asked for just bread and jam. Probably because he saw me eat it that way, otherwise he's never asked for it. He always wants pb&J.

Unloading the dishwasher has become so fast and easy with the help of NJ. He loves to help with everything. I try to let him as much as I can with what he can do and he does such a great job. I've been giving him a lot of stickers for being a good helper.

"I want to go with you, Mama. Where we going?" On the way to meet Auntie, he asks me to "Drive slow, ok?" After saying, "Why you say, Come on?" Because other cars are not moving!

Some shopping for a little someone's first birthday at Costco and then some Lee's for lunch. NJ pinched me and I wasn't happy about it so he says, "May I pinch you please?" Asking nicely doesn't make it ok!

"Sit here, Mama. I build this for you. Just like the apartment." It's surprises me still that he continues to talk about "the apartment". It was a almost a year ago already.

Went to a morning blood test and came back to my boys all nice and snuggly.

All ready to go to class with his lunch bag in tow.

But first some bubbles!

"May I sit in my seat please?" He wants to sit in his little seat when I'm sitting in it. At least he's asking me in a nice way to move.

He must have learned in class, but it was the first time he made the shape of a heart with his hands. Well, not in this photo because he was covering his eyes from the flash instead.

As I got ready, I had him decorate a card for his friend's birthday. He insisted on cutting out the 4 even though it wasn't necessary. He was more interested in cutting than coloring it. Oh well. NJ was so excited about going to Auntie's house to celebrate Yuuki's birthday that he kept asking, "Why Auntie Janell not here yet?" We were carpooling with another auntie, but he was pretty impatient about it.

This little mr. was playing footsie with Auntie Janell and the birthday girl. They seemed to like sitting next to each other.

Yay, birthday celebration also means cake!

I thought he was done after licking all the frosting off, but no he continued on to finish the whole cupcake. What a treat.

We had Ah-ma and Gong-gong (grandma and grandma) over for dinner. NJ was pretty good and really enjoyed their company. :) This is his yogurt and fruit dessert that he decided to hide behind. Silly.
