The bread wasn't done by the time we had our soup dinner last night so we are having it with jam for breakfast! 

Time for the pedals to go back on. Now to practice pedaling.

Not bad, just needs a little more practice! He's starting to pedal, just needs to not be as wobbly.

Baba and NJ did the Daniel in the lion's den puzzle and as a challenge turned it over and put it together without the picture. He did pretty good matching up the pieces!

I caught someone doing a few things he's not supposed to... Like opening and or unlocking any doors or windows, standing up on a chair, and getting the mail all without asking. I appreciate he was trying to help, but yikes. He scared me for a second.

I went through his box full of school work from last year and pictures he colored. So colorful and nice!

Auntie came to help me put together some goody bags for NJ's class. So nice to have the help!

Cute! They are playing with the magnetic cars together.

Baba made us soup, yum! So good!

Mmm, those look so good. Baba knows how to make his waffles look nice. Mine's usually a big mess. 

NJ's becoming more independent with homework. It's nice not to be breathing over him. 

Baba broke out the flash cards, trying some math on him. We didn't know what to expect, but he did really well and surprised us with how he could count it in his head and did it pretty quickly. We should practice more often.

We made some easy chicken pot pie and a broccoli salad. NJ loved the pot pie so much he said he wanted to make it every day. He seemed surprised that we made it.
