Dinner was ready except we were waiting for the rice. I found NJ sitting by himself at the table quietly. I asked him, "Are you that hungry that you're just sitting here ready and waiting?" He gave me his sad eyes and pout. Poor guy.

The good thing about his patience is that he ate so well.

NJ climbed all over Baba and gave him raspberries, they took turns making fart noises on each other and laughing.

In the middle of it he stops to say, "What's for dessert?"

His bedtime prayer: "Dear Jesus, thank you for this day, thank you that I go to school. Help Baba's feet to feel better and Mama to feel better. And pray that my flashlight keep working and not break. Help my cough to go away and sleep good. In Jesus name, Amen.
