As we always do, I asked him what he did at school. He talked about playing in the playground:
NJ- "I played with Timmy. We were glup, glup, glup, cough, cough. Drinking and coughing and being silly, so funny..."
M- "Drinking? What were you drinking?"
NJ- "Coffee."
M- "Do you like coffee?"
NJ "No, it's not good."
I'm sure that's what he'd say if he really tasted it.
He was all sad about his bag ripping when I picked him up today. He said it ripped when he was pulling it while caught on the cot. Must've been some pulling, the bag is completely ripped in almost two. I could hardly keep it's contents from spilling out as I brought it home. NJ loves this bag because it has lightning on it. He asked where we got it. When I said it was at the 99 cent store, he wanted to know what row. I had to tell him there was no guarantee that it would still be there, but we can check.

Noodle soup for dinner. He really liked it and said, "Mmm, this good Mama." And, "Ooh, I can use my chopstick and spoon for the soup!" Sure, ok.

At the children's museum I finally found the crayons that belong with these place mats, he has three. We haven't used them because he always asks to color on them, but he can't. There's crayon and marker permanently on there because he was so eager to color that he used whatever we have. But those don't wash off, only these crayons that are made for these mats. There was a whole display with all the different mats and I was so excited to see the crayons since I haven't been able to find them elsewhere. Maybe I should have gotten two.
He begged me to watch something. I told him if he ate his dinner nicely and finished all of it. Then I had him clean all his toys and put things away. Finally, I turn the tv on and there's some kind of news on. He says, "No, that's a grown up show, right?" Yes, almost everything is!
