A refreshing and cold afternoon snack. Yay, using my ice shaver again! Yum, yum... NJ kept asking for more condensed milk. Sorry, just a little drizzle is enough.

On the way to Dad's, NJ asked me: "Mama, are you happy?" What? He's never said that before. How sweet of him to ask! I said, "Yes, I am. Thank you for asking. Are you happy?" He says, "Yeah." Ok good! :)

Dinner at Dad's. It wouldn't be complete without a boat ride, people I've never met, and a hodge podge of pizza, sushi, chicken, hawaiian bread, veggies with dip, and other various foods. Funny. I met family that I've never met before, which was nice. It was strange at first and I'm much too shy to know what to say. But I reminded myself that I shouldn't let the night go by without trying. I overheard that one cousin (probably second or third?) goes to Biola. And somehow we ended up talking about photography, graphic design, missions, adoption, and beliefs. Wow! This is what happens when I go out of my comfort zone and stretch myself. It was a blessing to talk to her, we exchanged numbers and I hope we can meet up again. It'll be great to get to know them better.
