Hopping Dancing Hungry Swimming Corn Eater

My silly boy after picking him up from his class. He was hopping around or dancing around, not sure which! He was all smiles until I told him he couldn't go upstairs for snack because we were leaving. Then he turned on the sour pout. Poor guy was just so tired since we got to church extra early at 8:30 instead of 10:30. He stayed with me as we prayed in the sanctuary before the service. They read through the order of service and when it came to them saying, "And then the short term mission team to Japan will speak..."
He taps me and says, "That's you, Mama!"
He was paying attention! He was the only kid there, it was just the music team, pastors, and our team there standing in a circle. How sweet and unexpected. Baba was sweet enough to come to take some photos of us up there and to be my support as we talked about our trip. It meant a lot to have him there even though he wasn't feeling well. I definitely needed some comfort because I was so nervous!
There's that smile again, he just needed some food in him. Better real food than filling up on more snacks. We shared lunch and we ate the same amount.
Not sure what this pose was about, but made me laugh.
It was an enthusiastic, "Yes!" to the question: "Are you ready to go in the pool now?"
Somehow he's still yelling, "cannon ball!" as he belly flops into the pool. This one was pretty high and he looked right at me with a big smile. He always jumps in the pool with a smile.
Coming over to say, "Hi!"
And then off he goes. My little swimmer.
After his shower he put on pajamas. I asked him if he was going with me to the store in pajamas, he said yes. He helped me push the cart. I completely forgot my camera of coarse. It was cute.
I asked him what he wanted for dinner. He said, "Seaweed rolls."
Then he said, "Rice, corn, and chicken."
I got him his corn and chicken, but we had it on naan with hummus and cucumbers instead of rice. He liked it just as much even though he was hesitant since he wasn't getting his rice. Glad he liked it, he had seconds on everything. Yay!
