He was one happy boy this morning, up and playing with his legos. NJ excitedly told me that he was replicating the picture on the box. And he did, pretty exact actually. Down to where everything was, what they were holding, which direction it's facing. I was impressed. Good thing I was able to get him to still eat breakfast and change despite how much he was enjoying his set up.
During breakfast Dotty growled and barked. NJ got up and looked out the window. He then told her, "It's ok Dotty, there's nothing to be scared of, I checked. There's no squirrels."
I love hearing him talk to her, it makes me laugh.
After school I got him and went to visit mom. We didn't go to the playground and on the way I told him where we were going and why. When I mentioned Ah-ma's house he said, "You don't even have to ask. I go where you go, Mama."
Book group is back on tonight. We have a new baby again, our first boy. It was good to be back.
