Boats are Coming!

We went down to stand by the boat, where we could feel the waves rocking under us. Uncle Perry held NJ for a while, fearing he'd fall into the water. I told him his arms would get tired and to let him stand holding onto us. I said to NJ, "You have to hold my hand or Ah-goo's hand at all times or you're going inside the house and no more boat parade." Whew, that worked! Ha, ha. But it got cold and the waves started to really rock, so we went back inside. As the parade went on, the boats got larger and the speed got faster, all making the waves bigger. NJ enjoyed waving and saying Hi and Merry Christmas to all the people on the boats that passed. That was nice.
On the way home I asked him, "Did you enjoy your time with Ah-gong (grandpa) and Ah-goo (uncle)?" His response, "Yeah, it was cool!" Ha, ha, woaw... he's never said that before!
