A Happy Sunday

NJ woke up excited open gifts, but we only had time for one. He was so good about being patient and played with that one until we were all ready to leave. I could hear him calling out for help from Baba to figure out how to build it. But he did a great job doing it himself. I'm glad he was able to since he now knows he can do it himself.
Someone was up late and had tons of fun yesterday! We had emptied the car and his blanket must've gone with everything so he used Baba's extra polo shirt to snuggle in.
NJ wanted the brownie and the slice of cake, I gave him the choice of only one. He has the bad habit of not eating much lunch after visiting the snack table.
We were invited out to lunch and back to Uncle and Auntie's house to see their newly remodeled kitchen. Baba helped them with it and saw the process along, it turned out beautiful! NJ got to play with their sons' old legos. He had a lot of fun building and pretending with Uncle Don. They built a barn, a farm, a train, and some farm animals with a mama tiger with two baby tigers. It was cute that the boys were all playing and Auntie and I talked.
Another birthday treat from Uncle James. He chose the oreo one. I thought he'd devour it without hesitation, but actually he was so sweet to share it with us.
He gave Baba a couple of bites.
Not Dotty, she wishes...
Mmm, looks extra delicious to see how much he's enjoying it.
I wasn't expecting this at all, he gave me the rest of his cupcake because he said he wanted me to have some too and he had enough. How sweet!

He also got to try on his gi from Uncle Tomo. He was so excited to put it on and he's excited about going with Baba soon. It even has the dojo name on it, awesome! So cute and looked like a big boy in it.
