NJ was so excited about a bunk bed. When I asked him if we should get one for his room he said, "Yes! So we can have friends stay with us too."
There was a cute little table for him, he got right down to coloring. We pulled him from school early so we could drive down in time to check in and get ready first. Baba and I rested for a little until it was time to change and get ready to go.
A beautiful wedding on the marina in San Diego. We couldn't resist getting some photos with NJ and our god daughter. She looked like a little princess.
Walking backwards toward the reception.
The couple's first dance.
NJ's dance with my aunt. It was a short one since she just had surgery on her leg.
Some dancing with the kids.
And waiting for a turn at the money dance with the bride.
How cute!
My aunt had all kinds of swag for the kids. NJ got a box of match box cars, a glowing bracelet, coloring pages...
The kids had fun coloring together. Later, face painting Elsa came to entertain the kids. He said he didn't want his face painted because he didn't want his skin to fall off later. I'm not sure how that makes any sense, but ok. So strange. He ran around and played with all the kids really well, it was so cute. We didn't even have to worry about him. We'd still check on him and he was always laughing or playing so we left him alone. They went up and down the stairs so many times, I don't know how they had so much energy!
Aunt gave us some tattoo sleeves that we had quite a bit of fun with. Everyone else laughed while my mom was the only one who clearly looked disturbed to see it on us. We got a lot of laughs out of it. Even NJ put one on to match Baba.
We were all surprised when he showed up at our table with spiders on his hands. We said, "So you did get painted!"
He gave us this face and said, "It's not my face! I can wash it off my hands."
You can also wash it off your face too silly.
A picture with the bride and groom (my cousin).
And with my Aunt and Uncle.
Sometimes I forget just how tall my uncle is. Baba said that my aunt and I look like a couple of asian tourists taking a photo with an american celebrity. Ha, ha.
