Lego Star Wars pajama's were his choice. The Spiderman ones are a bit snug to be wearing to school. He might be showing his belly and ankles with those. But I know those were his top choices. The three of us walked to school together. In the morning Baba asked him, "Why haven't you changed out of your pajama's yet?"
"It's pajama day, silly Baba!"
I laughed because I almost said the same thing first thing in the morning until I realized that wasn't what he wore to bed and it was pj day. It's unusual since he's always dressed by the time we see him in the morning. We stuck around his class to take a photo of all the kids. We did a double, triple, well many takes every time another student showed up after the bell. By then the kids were trained with where to stand, hold still, smile, and say, "pajama day!!!" I'm sure we totally held up his teacher with taking up so much time taking the photos over and over again. But they turned out well.

We drove to pick him up since we were in a hurry. They all painted rainbows and they were still wet! His had wet paint on both sides so I had to hold it awkwardly all the way home (thank goodness it's only a block away)! Baba laughed at me having to hold it up. I told him, "Don't mind me, I don't want to show my face, all I want to do is gaze into this rainbow."

NJ made a card for our neighbors who were so sweet to take us to dinner. We thought we were meeting for dinner, but they wanted to take us to dinner! It was really nice to sit, talk, and share a meal. We live next to each other and see each other, but we don't actually get to talk to them much. We really missed being their neighbors! NJ drew us eating dinner at the table. It looks like Baba and I (on the left) have either fallen asleep or have our face in the food. While our neighbors (on the right) are sitting up like normal people. One of them is a nurse so she brought him a whole envelope full of nice, big superhero stickers from work. He was so excited and loved them! So thoughtful.

He saw me sitting and wanted to sit with me to take a break from his scooter and bike. He looks so big here. He asked to share the seat with me, but there wasn't much room so I asked him to do jumping jacks. He nearly fell backwards off the porch. I forgot that he's all over the place with his jumping jacks, he doesn't jump in place. And his timing is always off with the jump and the clap. It's silly and funny, he makes me laugh.

Baba made some quesadillas and the boys also wanted salami. NJ said he was making a mini salami taco. Oh my, he really is just like Baba.

NJ wanted to sit with me. I wanted to put my feet up, trapping him. He was trying to wiggle out as I tickled him. He called me Jabba because my legs were too heavy for him. Thanks! I told him that must make him Princess Leia. He didn't like that either!
I asked him if he knew who everyone was on his Star Wars shirt. He confidently said yes, and answered them all correctly except for one. "Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Han Solo, Obi-Wan, Luke, and Chabooey."
"Chabooey?!!"
Baba and I laughed till we cried. That was too funny. We made jokes the rest of the night with that one. Finally Baba told him to get a paper and pad to write down the spelling.
"Oh yeah, Chewbacca!"
The three of us went back and forth making up names and words in a similar way. I said to NJ, "That means your name is Natooey and I am Amooey!"
He went on to make up his own... Mamooey, Babooey, Dotooey, Agooey, hapooey, lalooey, kachooey...
Definitely a day full of laughs.
