Off To Japan

Mama's all packed and ready to go! Double checked my extensive list of stuff several times. I'm such a list maker, everything was checked off. But most importantly, I needed my medicine and passport. Good thing the letter from my doctor listing my meds had just been delivered yesterday. If only I could pack this little guy with me!
Baba and NJ checking out Auntie Becca and Uncle Dan's new camera. Baba is giving a shortened tutorial on functions. He recommended this one for their wants, needs, and price range. It's one of his many talents and ways to help others. He loves recommending cameras!
Dan, Rebecca, and I met with some of our team to fly together to Japan! This is just the beginning, I know we're really going to get to know each other!
I had to get some coffee bean which was right at our terminal. Yum! While there I saw the hot wheels store. Oh boy, I'm really going to miss my little NJ so much, I know it!
Dan, Rebecca, and I sat three in a row. Sitting next to each other, we tried to synchronize our movies to play at the same time. It was kind of hard though since my screen buttons were barely working. I hope the head of the poor person in front didn't notice me tapping on the screen incessantly. We watched "Accepted" and "The Impossible" together. The second one was a hard one to watch, but very fitting. It was the survival story of a family vacationing in Thailand when the tsunami hit. It was hard enough just to watch when it wasn't even real, it was only a movie. Even if it was on a true story, I can't imagine what anyone actually went through.
It was no surprise that I couldn't sleep a wink. The hardest was when I was so tired I couldn't even pay attention to a movie, but too awake to actually sleep! Never seems to change, it's so rare that I sleep in any kind of vehicle. I was also getting so uncomfortable. Oh well. Five minutes to destination!
Straight off the plane, we go down steps and into a bus that took us to the terminal. It was warm and sticky out, just like Taiwan in the summer!
Here we are at Haneda airport! Where do we go from here? We stopped underneath an information sign while we figured out where to go. We went through customs first. Good thing our flight was about 50 minutes early, it made up for the long line. Right away I noticed how incredibly courteous and helpful everyone was and how efficient they are with everything.
After customs, we went to the bathroom. I know it's weird that I'd take a photo of a toilet or bathroom stall, but I immediately thought of my dad. He has these fancy high tech toilets in his house and now I kind of understand why. The stall was so big, it was so clean, and there were more buttons than I knew what to do with.
We got our luggage and took the elevator to the hotel shuttle bus. Since we were the only ones in the elevator, I took the opportunity to get all of us in a photo! Good thing our faces are small because I'm sure the tiredness showed itself most on my face!
